  • Publication number: 20250149889
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for leveraging user premises supplied electric power to power active components in an information delivery network. In response to one or more conditions, an active component may switch an input power path from using grid-supplied or battery power to draw power from a user premises. The decision to switch the power path may be based on a number of conditions, for example, whether power is available from the grid, the relative cost of power from the user premises and whether the power from the user premises includes power from a renewable source.

  • Publication number: 20250126327
Abstract: This application describes methods, systems, and apparatus for allowing a user to easily determine whether the user and/or other user(s) have viewed content. For example, a program guide may display one or more graphics associated with the content (e.g., a movie poster), and in response to determining whether the user has viewed the content, the program guide may include an indication of whether the user has viewed the content. The program guide may include indications associated with multiple users (e.g., different colors, icons, graphics, or text). The program guide may filter the content based on whether the user has viewed the content (e.g., only display content the user has not viewed). A computing device storing the content may manage recording of the content based on whether the user has viewed the content (e.g., delete the recording if the user has viewed the content). A viewing history of the user may be maintained.

  • Publication number: 20250126318
Abstract: Primary content can be provided to a first device, wherein the primary content can comprise at least a first portion and a second portion. A provider can determine a user parameter related to secondary content, interspersed with the first and second portions of the primary content, and can provide the secondary content to a second device instead of to the first device, based on the user parameter. The provider can provide the second portion of the primary content to the first device immediately following the first portion of the primary content.

  • Patent number: 12212887
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for determining a video resource allocation for outputting content via a display. The video resource allocation may be determined based on priorization data that priorities different areas of the content. A greater portion of resources for outputting the content may be allocated to different areas of the content based on the priorization of data.

  • Publication number: 20250004564
Abstract: Motion detection computing devices may have difficulty determining precise motions of a user who suffers from unintended movement, such as tremors, associated with a physical or medical condition. Aspects described herein relate to motion compensation for detected motion input, e.g., 3D motion, from such users. As described herein, a system may detect the presence of rhythmic motion and/or other input characteristics within captured motion input from a user. The system may determine one or more filters to apply to the captured motion input based on the rhythmic motion, other input characteristics, and/or information in a user profile. The one or more filters may be applied to the captured motion input in order to suppress or minimize the effects of the rhythmic motion and/or other input characteristics thereby resulting in an enhanced user experience in an interactive system, such as a 3D, virtual and/or augmented reality environment.

  • Publication number: 20240317729
Abstract: The present invention relates to bifunctional compounds, which find utility as modulators of targeted ubiquitination, especially inhibitors of a variety of polypeptides and other proteins which are degraded and/or otherwise inhibited by bifunctional compounds according to the present invention. In particular, the present invention is directed to compounds, which contain on one end a VHL ligand which binds to the ubiquitin ligase and on the other end a moiety which binds a target protein such that the target protein is placed in proximity to the ubiquitin ligase to effect degradation (and inhibition) of that protein. The present invention exhibits a broad range of pharmacological activities associated with compounds according to the present invention, consistent with the degradation/inhibition of targeted polypeptides.
