    Abstract: A lawn edger includes a support shaft having an upper end and a lower end. An arm support surface is supported on the support shaft and a cutting blade is operably coupled to the lower end of the support shaft. An engine is supported on the support shaft between the upper end and the lower end and is operably coupled to the cutting blade. The lawn edger further includes a control grip supported on the support shaft between the arm support surface and the engine. The control grip is operably coupled to the engine and includes a user input to control operation of the engine.
