  • Patent number: 7089871
Abstract: A tier sheet for supporting a plurality of containers disposed in rows on the tier sheet and for supporting and separating a plurality of tiers of the containers to provide a tiered stack of the containers. Projections at the edge portions of the tier sheet extend from and above an upper surface and extend from and below a lower surface of the tier sheet sufficiently to impede lateral movement of an outside container disposed at an outside row from displacing the outside container from the stack.

  • Publication number: 20040085059
Abstract: A current measurement circuit utilizing pn junction diodes is presented. The inherent non-linear current-to-voltage (I-V) characteristics of diodes allow a wide dynamic current range to be accommodated. By periodically calibrating the diode-based current measurement circuit and storing the associated parametric I-V data points in a look-up table, the value of a current can be made available quickly by looking up a voltage value in the look-up table or by interpolating between two known data points as required. The effects induced by the temperature variations on diodes due to self-heating, environmental, and others, are automatically taken into account because parametric I-V data points are acquired and stored in the look-up table as a result of periodic calibration sessions which take place frequently enough so that any effects due to temperature changes are accounted for and reflected in the stored I-V data points.

  • Patent number: 6462532
Abstract: A modular offset Automated Testing Equipment (ATE) test head with split backplane is presented. The ATE test head is modularized into a card cage module having a first backplane for accommodating general purpose instrument cards and a cassette module having a second backplane that is offset relative to the first backplane for accommodating personality (specific purpose) instrument cards. The general purpose instrument cards and the personality instrument cards communicates with each other by cables connecting them. The general purpose instrument cards and personality instrument cards can be quickly disengaged from and engaged to the respective backplanes individually or concurrently. Because of this latter feature, a cassette module can be easily and rapidly disengaged from the card cage module and a different cassette module can be easily and rapidly engaged to the card cage module.

  • Patent number: 6346006
Abstract: By providing a unique electrical outlet cover plate and reeled electrical cord combination it is possible to securely yet readily removably fix a reeled extension cord to a conventional duplex or fourplex electrical outlet. The existing cover plate of the electrical outlet is removed and replaced with a replacement cover having a plurality of projections extending outwardly from it. A reeled electrical cord (e.g. an extension cord) has a male electrical plug on a back surface and slide with openings that cooperate with the projections of the replacement electrical receptacle cover so that when the male plug is inserted into a female electrical outlet with which the replacement cover is associated, the slide may be reciprocated to lock the reel to the cover plate.

  • Patent number: 4197769
Abstract: A dual vertical spindle turning machine for simultaneously machining workpieces chucked on the respective spindles having a horizontally movable dual tool assembly including independent side-by-side tool slides, and independent drive motors for simultaneously moving the tool slides along a horizontal slideway of a vertically movable main slide. The tool slides have clearance therebetween to enable independent adjustment of either one or both of the tools by incremental energization of either one or both of the tool slide drive motors.
