Abstract: A portable, quick-release, height-adjustable bench is disclosed. This bench is comprised of a platform, a height-adjustable seat operatively connected to said platform, means for adjusting the height of said height-adjustable seat, a height-adjustable footrest slidably engageable with said platform, means for adjusting the height of said footrest, and means for maintaining said height-adjustable seat and said height-adjustable footrest in positions such that they are always substantially parallel to each other.
