In an illustrative embodiment, the valve may include a first plunger tube, a second plunger tube spaced a distance from the first plunger tube, a magnetic coil disposed about at least part of the first plunger tube, a first plunger disposed within the first plunger tube, and a second plunger disposed within the second plunger tube. The first and second plungers may be operatively coupled to first and second valve members. Activation of the magnetic coil may result in the first and second plungers being suspended in the plunger tubes without a hard mechanical plunger stop to selectively open corresponding valves or other actuatable components, as desired.

Abstract: A system, method and apparatus are provided for designing and evaluating a supply-chain architecture and strategy, and communicating the architecture to concerned parties. The supply chain is designed by combining business strategies and analytical modeling in a well-defined process. Key product and market attributes are combined with defined supply-chain processes and strategies, to identify a preferred supply chain architecture and strategy. Feedback from the concerned parties is collected, and modifications are made iteratively to the supply chain architecture and strategy, based on the collected feedback.

Abstract: A garment that has a liner and an outer shell defining an inner space therebetween. An elastic cinch has ends that are anchorable to the shell. At least one of the ends is located within the inner space and has an end that extends to the outside of the shell through an opening in the shell. This end is manipulable from the outside of the shell for anchoring to the shell selectively in first and second positions relative thereto. When both ends are anchored, a closed path about a body part is defined by the cinch and by a tensionable portion of the shell between locations at which the ends are anchored. The stretch of the cinch can be selected by anchoring the end at different positions relative to the shell. Sleeves of the garment include first and second panels that extend from the shoulder to the wrist of the sleeve have convex edges attached to each other by a back seam. The edges have a curvature of a radius that diminishes towards the elbow.
