  • Patent number: 10741108
Abstract: A three-dimensional billboard display system features a flexible sheet of banner material having displayed content on a display side thereof, and a two-dimensional footprint area on the display side that is discretely identifiable from the displayed content. A flexible cover fastened to the flexible sheet in a position overlying the two-dimensional footprint area on the display side and enclosing a three-dimensional space between said cover and said flexible sheet. One or more inserts form a three-dimensional body of predetermined shape inside the three-dimensional space, the flexible cover spanning in taut condition over the three-dimensional body, thereby imparting the predetermined shape to the three-dimensional space and imparting the flexible cover with a three-dimensional form bulging outwardly from the display side of the flexible sheet. A reinforcement layer features a mesh or netting of criss-crossing webbing straps on a backside of the flexible sheet to carry the weight of the 3D embellishment.

  • Patent number: 9483966
Abstract: A 3D billboard display features a flexible banner having a display side, strips of reinforcement material attached to the flexible banner, and a flexible envelope fastened to the strips of reinforcement material and carried on the display side of the banner. The envelope forms an inflatable space that is fully or substantially enclosed by the flexible envelope, or a by a combination of the flexible envelope and the flexible banner. When inflated, the flexible envelope bulges away from the display side of the flexible sheet to create a three-dimensional display unit carried on the flexible banner. The resulting display is a one-piece shipment that is installation-ready, with no special modification or assembly required at the billboard site, where mere placement of the flexible banner on the billboard support structure and activation of an on-board inflation mechanism is all that's required.

  • Publication number: 20140354028
Abstract: An inflatable seat features an inflatable body having a cylindrical shape when inflated so as to visually approximate the shape of a drink can, and a seat topper situated atop the inflatable body. The seat topper features a padding layer disposed atop a base, which is of greater hardness and rigidity than the padding layer and has a flat undersurface in order to flatten out an underlying area of the top end of the inflatable to eliminate bulging of the top end of the inflatable and thereby better approximate the shape of a drink can. A pressure relief valve on the inflatable body prevents blowout of same under extreme pressure conditions when sat upon in high temperature environments.

  • Publication number: 20110031904
Abstract: An illuminating display is arranged for support on a store shelf at the front edge thereof and features at least one illuminating display area activated by a light source and visible from a side of the display facing outward from the shelf to form an eye-catching visual display visible by browsing customers perusing the product content of the shelf. In preferred embodiments, the display is in the form of a strip dimension to fit within a price ticket channel of the shelf so as to facilitate easy and clean removal of the strip, avoid obstruction of the products displayed on the shelf and extend along the shelf to carry multiple display areas at spaced positions therealong. The display areas can present product or company names, logos or slogans, or other promotional or advertising content.

  • Publication number: 20100282344
Abstract: A self-inflating inflatable display features a body having an air impermeable flexible skin defining an interior enclosure of the body that is exandable and compactable by respective introduction and removal of air from the interior enclosure through at least one opening in the body. An air delivery device is fixed to the body and defines an openable and closable air flow passage communicating with the interior enclosure of the body and an external environment thereoutside through a respective opening in the body. The air delivery assembly includes an air conveying mechanism selectively operable to convey air from the exterior environment into the interior enclosure through the air flow passage to effect inflating of the body. There is no need to transport separate equipment for filling the inflatable, and the air conveying mechanism may be battery operated to allow operation at locations lacking easy access to mains power.
