Patent number: 11953982Abstract: Embodiments include in response to monitoring a processor during operation, detecting a first number of core recovery events in the processor, determining that the first number of core recovery events fulfills a first condition for the first core recovery events threshold, and modifying a value of at least one droop sensor parameter of the processor by a first amount. The at least one droop sensor parameters affects a sensitivity to a voltage droop. In response to modifying the value of the droop sensor parameter by the first amount, a second number of core recovery events is detected in the processor. Patent number: 6728284Abstract: A multi-stage magnetic modulator provides a pulse train of ±40 kV electrical pulses at a 5-7 kHz repetition rate to a metal vapor laser. A fractional turn transformer steps up the voltage by a factor of 80 to 1 and magnetic pulse compression is used to reduce the pulse width of the pulse train. The transformer is fabricated utilizing a rod and plate stack type of construction to achieve a high packing factor. Patent number: 5448580Abstract: A compact high power magnetic compression apparatus and method for delivering high voltage pulses of short duration at a high repetition rate and high peak power output which does not require the use of environmentally unacceptable fluids such as chlorofluorocarbons either as a dielectric or as a coolant, and which discharges very little waste heat into the surrounding air. A first magnetic switch has cooling channels formed therethrough to facilitate the removal of excess heat. The first magnetic switch is mounted on a printed circuit board. A pulse transformer comprised of a plurality of discrete electrically insulated and magnetically coupled units is also mounted on said printed board and is electrically coupled to the first magnetic switch. The pulse transformer also has cooling means attached thereto for removing heat from the pulse transformer. This arrangement of components includes a first plurality of electrically conducive rigid rods parallel with and located outside the outer side of the core and a second plurality of electrically conductive rigid rods parallel with and located inside the inner side of the core. The arrangement also includes means for electrically connecting these rods together so that the define the current flow path. Patent number: 4527901Abstract: An ultrasonic cleaning system utilizes a manufacturing technique wherein one or more piezoelectric elements are fused, secured by a gold sputtering technique, or attached by electrochemical deposition to an associated metal surface, whether it be a metal cleaning tank or an electrode, by a gas-tight joint or connection, eliminating the necessity of utilizing conventional techniques that require bonding of the element or elements to the associated metal surfaces by epoxy compounds or the like. The novel technique is practiced, in some forms of the invention, by molding the piezoelectric elements integrally with ceramic materials utilized for the liquid cleaning tank itself, and thereafter polarizing the area or areas that are to be made piezoelectric.
