  • Patent number: 10695679
Abstract: One particular implementation of the present invention may take the form of a method and apparatus for providing various movements as input to a video game. The method and apparatus may detect the body movements of a video game player and interpret those movements as inputs to the video game. The video game may then compare the movements of the user to expected movements to determine if the correct movement was performed by the user. The video game may also display a video game environment that instructs and interacts with the user to perform several movements of the video game. In this manner, the method and apparatus may provide a move realistic and dynamic video game experience than previous video games that only allowed the player to press buttons as inputs to the game.

  • Patent number: 9844730
Abstract: One particular implementation of the present invention may take the form of a method and apparatus for providing various dance movements as input to a dancing video game. The method and apparatus may detect the hand and arm movements of a video game player and interpret those movements as inputs to the video game. The video game may then compare the dancing movements of the user to expected dance movements to determine if the correct dance movement was performed by the user. The video game may also display a video game environment that instructs and interacts with the user to perform several dance movements of the video game. In this manner, the method and apparatus may provide a more realistic and dynamic dancing video game experience than previous dancing video games that only allowed the player to press buttons as inputs to the game.

  • Publication number: 20070202926
Abstract: A mobile communication device (100) has a plurality of associated ringers for alerting a user to the occurrence of an incoming call (310). The mobile communication device rings a first ringer (312) for a predetermined number of rings or for a predetermined duration. If the call is not answered while ringing the first ringer, the mobile communication device uses other ringers. Each other ringer is associated with an audio device for the user to listen to call audio. Upon answering the call (314), the mobile communication device routes the call audio to the audio device associated with the ringer that was ringing when the user answered the call (320).

  • Publication number: 20070147316
Abstract: A device, method, and system for communicating with at least one target wireless device are disclosed. The method includes initiating, by an originating wireless device (104), a communication using a first communication service with a target wireless device (106). The originating wireless device (104) determines that the target wireless device (106) is unavailable for the communication with the originating wireless device. In response to this determination, the originating wireless device (104) communicates with the target wireless device (106) by at initiating a communication using the second communication service with the second multi-mode wireless device (106); transmitting a voicemail message associated with the second multi-mode wireless (106) device using the second communication service; or transmitting a voice message using the first communication service, wherein the voice message is stored locally on the target wireless device (106).
