  • Patent number: 8694163
Abstract: Resource sustainability performance of a facility is managed using real time resource monitoring data, and resource sustainability performance values for the facility determined using the real time monitoring data are provided in real time. In addition, resource sustainability feedback information is distributed in real time to cause a resource sustainability action to be executed in connection with the facility. The feedback information is determined from sustainability result information, which is determined from real time resource sustainability action information and the real time resource performance values determined for the facility.

  • Patent number: 8103465
Abstract: Generation of renewable energy for, exportation of the renewable energy from, importation of utility generated energy to, and consumption of energy at, a facility are monitored in substantially real time to provide for substantially real time management and reporting of energy performance of the facility. Monitoring of environmental conditions and facility operations of the facility, also in substantially real time and time correlated with the energy monitoring, is performed to further enhance the management and reporting of the energy performance of the facility.

  • Patent number: 4864972
Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for operation and optimization of boilers in a multiboiler heating plant. The apparatus includes a boiler selection means which is typically a computer which includes a fuel consumption profile for the boilers in the plant. A boiler controller is connected to the boiler selection means. An outdoor air temperature sensor is provided. In operation the fuel consumption profile of the various boilders at the current outdoor air temperature are compared and the boiler which will consume the least amount of fuel per degree day or other time unit is selected for operation.
