The system includes an open loop with a pump drawing water from the environment and forcing the water across the outer surface of the heat exchanger to augment existing heat removal due to contact with and flow of water across the heat exchanger due to the motion of the barge. A fluid is forced across the side faces and inner faces of the cooler to increase heat transfer from the barge closed-loop cooling system to the water environment.

The barge section is configured to carry liquefied natural was (LNG) and includes an LNG electric generator. In some embodiments, the barge section is configured to carry LNG and at least one additional cargo. The additional cargo may include a cargo for resupplying another vessel. The tug boat includes a propulsion system with an electric motor configured to receive electric power generated from multiple fuels. Electricity from the barge's generator is provided to the tug boat's motor via a power umbilical line.

The self propelled vessel or the barge section is configured to carry liquefied natural gas and at least one additional cargo. The additional cargo may include a cargo for resupplying another vessel. The cargo may include at least one of marine gas oil, lubricant, distillates, bio-fuels and water. The disclosure also relates to a method of resupplying a second vessel using the versatile transport-delivery vessel.
