  • Patent number: 5029650
Abstract: A vertical angle adjustable quick-attaching coupler for attaching an implement to the three point hitch of a vehicle. The coupler comprises a coupler frame, attachment means for pivotally mounting the coupler to the three point hitch of the vehicle, hook members for attaching the coupler to the implement, and angle adjustment means which includes a lever arm and a hydraulic cylinder for adjusting the vertical angle of the plane defined by the three attachment points of the three point hitch relative to the plane defined by the hook members of the coupler.

  • Patent number: 4974683
Abstract: A ridge tillage attachment includes springs associated with a linkage which guides a tool and wheel support beam for vertical movement, the springs being mounted within the linkage envelop to provide a compact arrangement and being operative to apply required forces to to a tool and wheels carried by the beam, while facilitating disassembly of the attachment when desired. The attachment also includes a structure which securely connects wheel axles to the support beam with a clamping action while being adjustable to provide a large range of relative positional values.

  • Patent number: 4912915
Abstract: A rotary cutter or mower implement for cutting crop materials. The rotary cutter has a housing with support skids on each side of the housing. Presser wheels are positioned in front of the support skids. The support skids and presser wheels are vertically adjustable relative to the rotary cutter housing.

  • Patent number: 4903781
Abstract: A compact flexible mounting system for connection of an agricultural implement to a tractor includes a load transfer member pivotally attached to the upper stabilizing link of a three-point hitch and to the implement support frame to which the lower links of the hitch are attached. A compression spring is interposed between a portion of the load transfer member and a portion of the implement support frame to yieldably resist rotation of the pivotal load transfer member away from the tractor for stress relief purposes while transmitting down-pressure forces from the hitch to the implement.

  • Patent number: 4702323
Abstract: A ridge tillage attachment for conventional row-crop planters for use in minimum tillage planting on row ridges is disclosed. This ridge tillage attachment includes a tool portion and a linkage portion. The linkage portion has a parallelogram linkage support system and is attached to the planter. The tool portion is detachable from the linkage portion and is in the form of a tool support beam with guide wheels, cutting discs and sweep plates mounted thereto. The linkage portion of the unit is designed so that it can remain attached to the planter after the tool portion has been detached. An adjustable compression spring down-pressure system acts directly above the tillage implements to apply maximum down pressure. The guide wheels can be adjusted relative to the tool support beam by a height adjustment structure located directly above the wheels. The cutter discs are slightly offset to prevent plugging between them and to facilitate penetration of the soil.

  • Patent number: 4440637
Abstract: A rotary grain screener is disclosed in which a reverse drive transmission assembly is provided at one end of the screener and in which a second drive transmission assembly is provided at the opposite end of the screener for driving an outer drum, an inner drum being secured to a central shaft which is driven from the outer drum through the reverse drive transmission assembly. The second drive transmission assembly also drives an auger in a pan which underlies the screens and a conveyor for conveying foreign materials upwardly out of the pan.

  • Patent number: 4274750
Abstract: An improved drive arrrangement in grain stirrers of the type including a sweep arm suspended between a track along the bin sidewall and a pivot support toward the bin's center. The sweep arm includes a laterally extending support element extending from the support frame, being selectively rotatable or counterrotatable, and a sweep drive unit being selectively rotatable independently of the support element and including a drive wheel engaging the bin track. Stirring augers depend from the laterally extending sweep arm, and are adapted for radial movement along the sweep arm in either direction in accordance with rotation and counter-rotation of the support element. An automatically selective reversing drive system, comprising opposed one-way clutches, interconnects the support element and the drive wheel whereby the sweep arm is driven in one direction around the bin in response to both such rotation and such counterrotation of the support element.
