Publication number: 20190124734Abstract: A master lighting fixture and a satellite lighting fixture can each include an LED board including multiple LEDs that can emit visible light. A power supply and a LED regulator can be connected to the LED board in the master lighting fixture to provide power to operate the LED board. The LED board in the master lighting fixture can be connected to the LED board in the satellite lighting fixture to form a circuit to allow the power provided by the LED driver to be transmitted to the LED board in the satellite lighting fixture. A defect in the LED board in the master lighting fixture or the satellite lighting fixture can open the circuit, which can prevent power from being transmitted through the LED boards to enhance the performance of LEDs in the LED boards or reduce a risk of damage that can be caused by the LED boards.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 20, 2018Publication date: April 25, 2019Inventors: YAN RODRIGUEZ, THOMAS EDWARD HARRIS, ANTONIO MARQUES

Publication number: 20180228249Abstract: A stopper for securing an end of a lace in an article having at least one eyelet, such as a shoe, without having to form an exposed knot. A thin, rigid body includes a series of openings arranged in a row, including a first, middle opening through which the lace is routed from the eyelet, a second opening proximate one end through which the lace is routed from the middle opening, and a third opening proximate an opposite through which the lace is routed from the second opening via the first end of the body, the third opening having a slot-shaped configuration. When tension is applied to the lace, as by a foot being inserted into a shoe, a locking engagement is formed between the lace and stopper and the stopper reacts against the eyelet. The stopper may be hidden from view behind the eyelet stay of a shoe.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 2, 2018Publication date: August 16, 2018Inventors: Charles Edward Harris, Charles David Harris

Publication number: 20170245002Abstract: An electronic device comprised of an HDMI Matrix/Switcher IC and IP Extension Processor. The invention will carry out this process by utilizing an HDMI matrix/switcher IC to control the flow of the HDMI signals to and from the IP processor. This allows one or more sources to be selected as the input to the IP processor or received content from the IP processor to be routed through the input of the HDMI matrix/switcher to an HDMI output of the HDMI matrix/switcher. This topology when configured as a transmitter can send the HDMI source over IP and can select which input is to be sent to the local HDMI output(s) of the unit. When configured as a receiver the IP content being received can be sent to the HDMI output(s) of the unit or same unit can select from one of the other HDMI input(s). The main intent of the invention would be to eliminate the need for 2 different products to achieve the end to end results and it allows for local switching and loop-out capabilities of the HDMI sources.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 19, 2016Publication date: August 24, 2017Inventor: Paul Edward Harris

Patent number: 8984674Abstract: A training urinal attachment mountable to the bowl of a toilet. The attachment includes a resiliently collapsible shell having an intake opening that receives a flow of urine from a standing child and a discharge opening that directs the flow into a collection area of the bowl. The shell is mounted on the rim of the bowl in an area that is covered by the seat of the toilet when lowered. When the seat is lowered, the shell compresses to a collapsed configuration in the area between the seat and the rim. When the seat is raised, the shell expands to an erected configuration in which the intake opening extends above the rim to receive the flow of urine. The discharge opening is visible through the intake opening to provide the child with a target to aid in training.Type: GrantFiled: August 27, 2013Date of Patent: March 24, 2015Inventors: Charles Edward Harris, Charles David Harris
