  • Patent number: 11201885
Abstract: The present disclosure describes systems and methods for detecting malware. More particularly, the system includes a monitoring device that monitors side-channel activity of a target device. The monitoring device that can work in conjunction with (or independently of) a cloud-based security analytics engine to perform anomaly detection and classification on the side-channel activity. For example, the monitoring device can calculate a first set of features that are then transmitted to the security analytics engine for anomaly detection and classification.

  • Publication number: 20100187305
Abstract: The present application provides a method and apparatus for electrically tagging footwear and apparel products using easily replaceable power components. The active powered security tag system includes at least two parts. One part includes a power component and electrical and mechanical connection means for connecting to a part that needs a power component. A second part includes an electronic tag including an active electrical component, electronic circuitry, and electrical and mechanical connection means for connecting to a part with a power component. By combining the two parts, an electric circuit is completed so that the power component in one part powers the active electrical component in another part. By separating the power component from the active electrical component, the power component can be easily replaced and the electronic tag can be reused.

  • Publication number: 20080198098
Abstract: An electronic sign employs a bi-stable, non-volatile display material activatable by electrodes to convey information. A sensor detects when the electronic sign is inserted in or in the vicinity of an insertion area, and controls the operation of the sign based on the detected location. A backplane in the electronic sign includes different patterns of addressable elements to provide a display that pixel, font region, or icon addressable or have a combination of one or more of the pixel, font region, or icon addressability. A remote device communicates with the electronic sign, and multiple electronic signs may communicate with each other via a communication protocol, such as mesh networking.
