  • Patent number: 10408559
Abstract: A portable, compact, collapsible, adjustable, archery crossbow press for high poundage crossbows which have a rifle-like frame with an elongate channel and transverse limbs with outwardly located cams or wheels connected by a bow string. The crossbow press includes two limb clamp assemblies that releasably capture the transverse limbs about the cams. A flexible connector connects the two limb clamp assembles just above the rifle-like frame. A safety hook block fits within the elongate channel rearwardly of the crossbow string and is anchored to the rifle-like frame. A mechanical cocking device pulls the flexible connector rearwardly to secure it to a hook on the anchored safety hook block.

Crossbows with a crank-type cocking device utilize a slide moveable within the elongate channel to capture and pull the flexible connector into a rearward locked position. In this condition, the bow string, string sights, dampers, tension cable, cams and other components may be safely worked on or replaced.

  • Patent number: 9651332
Abstract: An archery bow draw board for an anchored compound archery bow having a riser, limbs, at least one cam with a pulley, or two cams, a bow string with a cable. The draw board is connectable to the bow string and includes a base plate supporting a gallows vertical pole and a gear box and side plate fixed therebelow. A worm drive on a shaft is mounted within the gear box and is turnable by an outwardly extending crank handle. An axel with a fixed reel and worm gear extends from the side plate into the gear housing wherein the worm gear meshes with the worm drive to drive the reel in either direction by turning the crank. The worm drive and worm gear hold the reel in place upon releasing the crank. A gallows horizontal extension is located on top of the gallows pole with a first pulley, and a second pulley in line with and spaced from the first pulley away from the gallows pole.

  • Publication number: 20170089663
Abstract: A release aid for a string bow of a typical archery bow that allows a user of the release aid to set a particular draw length. The release aid has a plurality of adjustment members slidable on a rod that is inserted through the main body of the release aid. The adjustment members can be added or removed from a first portion of the rod to either increase or decrease the draw length. Additionally, a connector assembly of the release aid can be rotated three hundred sixty degrees until secured such that a user can select a specific position of the bow string connector assembly relative to the rod and main body.

  • Publication number: 20160348997
Abstract: A bow stabilizer for an archery bow having a first portion forming an angle to a second portion. The angle of the bow stabilizer creates a bent or curved shape between the first and second end, allowing a greater number of positions of the bow stabilizer than the current state of the art linear bow stabilizers. Additionally, the bow stabilizer of this application allows a user to easily switch positions by a rotating the bow stabilizer in the bow.

  • Patent number: 8505523
Abstract: An improved archery bow press used to safely relieve tension in the bow string of a short limbed compound archery bow. Slidable brackets are retained to a horizontal beam and retain pivot arms to the beam. Brackets slidable along each of the pivot arms may be locked in place. Each pivot arm includes a bearing member which abuts a limb of a compound bow. A jack is mounted to the beam to raise and lower link members connected to the pivot arms. The link members are adjustable in length. Markings are provided on the adjustable members so that adjustments to those elements can be made based on data in a table correlating settings for specific compound bows. Safety latches lock the bow limbs to the slidable brackets. A method for presetting the press is provided.

  • Patent number: 8387600
Abstract: An improved archery bow press used to relieve tension in the bow string of a compound archery bow so that maintenance and repair of the bow string and its components may be safely and easily accomplished. A threaded rod is mounted adjacent and parallel to an elongate beam allowing brackets slidable along the beam to be positioned at differing spacings therebetween. The threaded rod is turned by a crank perpendicularly extending from the threaded rod. Limb engaging arms are hinged to the slidable brackets. Link members are pivotably retained to the limb engaging arms and the link members are retainable to a telescoping part of a screw jack which is retained to the beam. At least one of the link members includes a pin support bracket along its length. The pin support bracket supports a tapered pin extending laterally from the pin support bracket over a bow placed in the bow press.

  • Patent number: 7036497
Abstract: A bow stand attachment for an archery bow has a base which mounts to the riser of the bow. The base has a pair of legs extending downward from it. The legs are slid onto stubs which extend away and downward from the outer rim of the base. The ends of the legs and the end of a stabilizer mounted to the bow can cooperate to provide a supporting tripod for the bow. When no stabilizer is attached to the bow, the bow stand and lower pulley act as a tripod to support the bow. Performance of the bow is not affected by presence of the attachment because of its low mass and symmetry on the riser of the bow.

  • Patent number: 6522400
Abstract: Apparatus to align the front wheels of a go-cart or other wheeled vehicle on which front wheel toe-in is adjustable. A laser disposed adjacent a horizontally disposed scale is selectively detachably mounted to the rear axle of the go-cart at one of the sides of the go-cart and a mirror member is selectively detachably mounted to the front spindle on the same side of the go-cart. The laser is oriented to emit a laser beam at a perpendicular to the rear axle and onto the mirror of the mirror element which reflects the laser beam back toward the scale. Toe-in of one front wheel of the vehicle may be adjusted precisely by viewing the separation of the emitted laser beam and the impingement of the reflected beam on the scale. The apparatus may then be mounted on the opposite side of the vehicle and the other front wheel adjusted. Alternate mounting means are described which permit the laser and scale and the mirror member to be mounted to the go-cart without removing its wheels and without suspending the vehicle.
