Publication number: 20230153331Abstract: A computer-implemented method for entity resolution is provided. The method comprises receiving a number of different entity identifiers and grouping the entity identifiers into a number of entity pairs. The entity pairs are fed into a match generator filter that determines a similarity score for each entity pair according to a number of similarity algorithms. Potentially matching entity pairs comprising a subset of the entity pairs that have similarity scores above a first specified threshold are then fed into a machine learning model that determines a confidence score for each potentially matching entity pair. The machine learning model identifies matched entities that comprise a subset of the potentially matching entity pairs that have confidence scores above a second specified threshold.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 18, 2021Publication date: May 18, 2023Inventors: Ji Hua, Evan Michael Fagerberg, Jonathan Edward Hoyt Hayden

Patent number: 11640230Abstract: A method for visualizing corporate hierarchies is provided. The method comprises receiving a selection of a first company stored in a database and retrieving, from the database, an ultimate parent company of the first company. All other known companies with the same ultimate parent company as the first company are then retrieved from the database. An interactive hierarchical tree diagram is displayed in an interface, wherein the first company, the ultimate parent company, and the other known companies with the same ultimate parent company are displayed as nodes according to parent/child relationships among the companies. Also displayed in the interface, adjacent to the tree diagram, is a collapsible nested tree list comprising the first company, the ultimate parent company, and the other known companies with the same ultimate parent company. The tree diagram and nested tree list have synchronized responses to user input.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2021Date of Patent: May 2, 2023Assignee: S&P Global Inc.Inventors: Robert George Christie, Jonathan Edward Hoyt Hayden, Michael Albert Vezza, James Ryan Psota

Publication number: 20230098981Abstract: A computer-implemented method for visualizing a supply chain is provided. The method comprises receiving a selection of a first company stored in a database and retrieving, from the database, a first number of consignment companies that buy products from the first company. A second number of consignment companies that buy products from the first number of consignment companies are retrieved from the database. The method further comprises retrieving, from the database, a first number of supplier companies that sell products to the first company and then retrieving, from the database, a second number of supplier companies that sell products to the first number of supplier companies. A supply chain tree diagram is displayed in an interface, wherein the consignment companies and supplier companies are displayed as nodes branching from the first company.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 29, 2021Publication date: March 30, 2023Inventors: Jonathan Edward Hoyt Hayden, Robert George Christie, Michael Albert Vezza, James Ryan Psota

Publication number: 20160366854Abstract: A system is described that includes communications modules, a wearable device, and an application running on a processor of a computing platform. The system includes placing each communications module at a location in a premises, wherein each communications module periodically transmits a unique number, wherein the application detects and stores each unique number. The system includes the application organizing linking information by linking each unique number with a function and transmitting the linking information to the wearable device. The wearable device may detect a transmission of a communications module and use information of the transmission to identify the communications module's unique number.
