  • Patent number: 6308866
Abstract: A foam dispensing apparatus of the present invention includes a reservoir containing a foamable liquid, with a closed headspace above a surface of the liquid. The apparatus also includes a source of a gas disposed to impose a gas pressure higher than ambient atmospheric pressure into the closed headspace. There is a mixing chamber having an inside diameter, an inlet and an outlet open to the ambient atmosphere with a flow restricter having a plurality of openings therein in gaseous communication with the closed headspace. The foam dispensing apparatus also includes a hydrophobic filter.

  • Patent number: 6279937
Abstract: An intermediate shaft plate is provided for an assembly for controlling the ground speed of a vehicle having an operator seat, an engine and a variable speed transmission coupled for driving a pair of ground wheels. The transmission is selectively movable among neutral, forward and reverse drive positions. A transmission control shaft is coupled to the transmission for selectively controlling said transmission such that said vehicle is driven in either a forward or a reverse direction. A forward foot control pedal and a reverse foot control pedal are connected to a foot control rod and a hand control lever is connected to a hand control rod. The intermediate shaft plate is connected to the hand control rod, the foot control rod and the transmission control shaft for coupling the forward and reverse control pedals and the hand control lever to the transmission.

Abstract: An assembly is provided for controlling the ground speed of a vehicle having an operator seat, an engine and a variable speed transmission drivingly coupled to a pair of ground wheel. The transmission is selectively movable among neutral, forward and reverse drive positions. The assembly includes a transmission control shaft connected to said transmission for selectively controlling the transmission such that said vehicle is driven in either a forward or a reverse direction. A forward foot control pedal and a reverse foot control pedal are each connected to the transmission control shaft, as is a hand lever rod. A hand control has a cruise control function and a hand operation function, and is coupled to the hand lever rod for engagement with the transmission control shaft. The hand control includes a lever portion and a plate portion.

  • Patent number: 4019732
Abstract: A registration mechanism for feeding sheets seriatim including a plurality of continuously driven roller sets located along a sheet feed path. A first roller set receives the sheets seriatim and moves the sheets toward a second roller set. The second roller set includes a pair of axially spaced, continuously driven rollers mounted on a drive shaft and a pair of thrust washers which sandwich a registration disc therebetween, the disc being freely mounted on the roller drive shaft. The registration disc has a registration finger which selectively extends through the sheet feed path. When the finger is positioned to extend through the feed path, it is latched to prevent rotation of the disc and provide registration of the sheets fed by the first roller set against the finger.

  • Patent number: T957006
Abstract: apparatus is disclosed for automatically rearranging documents in a recirculating feeder when a malfunction, such as a paper jam, has occurred in the feeder or in the copier. The use of a recirculating feeder facilitates the collation of the final copies produced by the copier without the need for a sorter accessory. If a malfunction, such as a paper jam, occurs in the copier, the automatic rearrangement apparatus initiates a feeding sequence in the feeder and causes the feeder to rearrange the original documents until the appropriate document is at the bottom of the stack for continuity in copying by the copier. If a malfunction occurs in the feeder, after the operator corrects the malfunction and replaces the original documents in their initial order in the feeder, the automatic rearrangement apparatus initiates a feeding sequence and rearranges the documents until the appropriate document is at the bottom of the stack for continuity in copying by the copier.

  • Patent number: T964008
Abstract: a recirculating feeder adapted to be coupled to a copier is set forth which employs a separator member that initially engages the top document sheet of a multi-sheet document in a tray and incrementally moves downwardly under the influence of gravity as individual document sheets are fed from the bottom of the multi-sheet document to the copier exposure platen and returned to the top of the multi-sheet document in the tray. After the sheet initially engaged by the separator member is fed, the separator member moves downwardly to be spaced from the tray and a motor control circuit is activated which energizes a motor. The energized motor drives the separator member towards return engagement with the top document sheet of the multi-sheet document in the tray.
