    Abstract: The disclosure is of conveyor belting and a method for its manufacture. The belting comprises a plurality of substantially parallel textile yarns of a specific character, integrated with a layer of consolidated staple fibers and encapsulated in a matrix of a specific class of elastomeric resin. The belting of the invention is useful to manufacture conveyor belts which exhibit advantageous properties of wear resistance, stability in running and structural integrity.
