    Abstract: A tape cassette having a body and two reels rotatable with respect to the body, one of the reels having a roller clutch between it and the body, the roller clutch having rollers, a ring extending around the rollers, and a roller cage, the rollers being contained in channels with a ramp surface formed in the roller cage, the rollers having a wedging surface adapted to wedge between the ramp surface and a ring to prevent rotation of the reel in one direction but permit rotation in the other direction, the rollers being adjustable to remove them from operative relation with the ring whereby to free the reel for rotation in either direction.
