Abstract: A cable spacer of the type used in overhead power transmission systems includes a body provided with cable engaging hooks, each hook having a seat in the form of a cylindrical segment. A cable retainer is provided for each seat and consists of a cylindrical body having at least one semicylindrical groove and a handle projecting radially outwardly. The retainer is slidably receivable in the seat from either end thereof and rotatable between a first position in which the cable may be inserted into the groove and a second, cable retaining position in which the groove is within the confines of the seat.

Abstract: Knockdown units forming drawers or bins include a one-piece molded plastic bottom and side panel unit with the side panels being connected to the bottom panel by reduced thickness thickness zones and molded plastic front and rear panels. Interengaging connecting means are formed integrally at the upper portions of the side panels and the upper ends of the front and rear panels.

Abstract: Panels for forming the four sides of knockdown constructions such as file cabinets or shelf units are formed with interlocking side rails allowing for assembly without the use of separate fasteners or tools.

Abstract: A one-piece, elongated, molded plastic clamp member for forming poster and picture frames or other sheet holders has a base portion, rigid outer, front and inner wall portions connected to a lateral edge of the base portion by a web type hinge, and one or more planar spring portions connected to the base portion and engaging the front and inner wall portions at their juncture to provide overcenter biasing between the closed and open positions of the clamp member. The base portion may be attached to a separate backing panel or may be extended to form the backing panel of a frame.

Abstract: A holder for a plurality of overhead projection system transparencies includes a ruler-like bar provided with suction cups for attaching the bar to the stage of the projector and U-shaped arms for engaging the holes provided along one edge of each transparency. The rear legs of the arms are rotatably received in bosses provided along the rear edge of the bar and the front legs releasably engage posts at the front edge of the bar.

Abstract: A spectacle frame of one-piece molded plastic construction for film-like lens, e.g., lens used in viewing 3-D movies, includes a pair of temple pieces connected by a crossbar and a lens frame and bridge piece joined to the crossbar by a hinge web. A latch integral with the crossbar engages the bridge piece when the spectacle is in use.

Abstract: A holder and dispenser for utility knife blades includes a molded plastic back plate and a cover connected thereto by an integral hinge. Blade dispensing apertures are formed at the ends of the cover and a manually actuable follower moves in an opening extending the length of the cover.

Abstract: A mold, such as a hamburger patty press, is of single piece molded plastic construction. The top wall of the mold has a U-shaped slot and grooves extending from the ends of the slot to the adjacent edges of the wall to form integral hinges permitting a portion of the mold to be swung upwardly.
