    Abstract: An air-operated sound producing device includes a main housing including a downwardly curved reed-plate formed thereon with a plurality of variously sized sound channels formed therein, a reed assembly having at least two vibratable reeds formed thereon, and a means to secure the reed assembly over the downwardly curved reed-plate. The reed-plate provides a portion between the sound channels for center support and vibration of the reed. The reed assembly of the sound producing device is vibratable in whole, or in part, over multiple sound channels. The device is particularly suited for the use of thin, relatively wide reeds. Further, the device provides for the adaptation of a variety of interchangeable variously sized reeds produced from a single piece of material. The disclosed novel device can produce a wide variety of unusual and desirable sounds of considerable volume and has applications to hand-held musical instruments, toys, novelty items, and wildlife attraction devices.

    Abstract: A decoy mounting system enables the support or decoys constructed of thin, flexible materials, such as foam, rubber, PVC, and the like. A ground support stake for supporting the decoy has a semi-circular top portion defining an axially oriented surface and a pointed bottom end. A mounting bracket connects the ground support stake with the decoy and has a socket depending downwardly therefrom to receive the top end of the ground support stake, where the socket defines an axially oriented bore surface effective to engage the axially oriented surface of the ground support stake to limit rotation of the mounting bracket on the ground support stake.
