The air flow crown is adapted to detachably mount atop a carburetor and has a contoured intake surface that guides and directs airflow into the mouth of the carburetor. The airflow crown's intake surface is configured to merge with the sidewalls of the induction bores to form a smooth continuous surface around the mouth of the carburetor and induction bores, which helps facilitate laminar airflow and redirection of the intake air flow downward into the carburetor.
