Abstract: A press brake tool cabinet having multiple tool carrying drawers where the drawers are formed from a metal sheet base configured as two side panels separated by a bottom panel. A back panel is connected to the base, and a front panel having a first set of openings to receive snap fitted latches and a second set of openings for receiving strike plates is also connected to the base. Left and right strike plates are mounted to the base and the front panel is connected to one arm of a continuous hinge and a second arm of the continuous hinge is connected to the bottom panel. Lockable drawer slides connect the drawers to the cabinet.

Abstract: A press brake tool cabinet with a downward opening transparent door. The door included a number of rectangular polycarbonate slats in frame members. The cabinet included a frame assembly and a number of drawers. Left and right door track systems are connected to the cabinet, and the door moves from an upper closed position in front of the drawers to an open position beneath and behind the drawers. Stop plates defined the position of the door in the open position and hanger plates supported and retained the door in the upper closed position. A pulley system facilitated movement of the door and a lock system maintained the door in the closed position.

Abstract: A tool cabinet apparatus with a safety lock system and a method of manufacturing the cabinet. The cabinet includes a shell or frame, an inner panel with openings for installing drawer slides, a plurality of four different drawer configurations, the drawer configurations including drawers of three inches, five inches, seven inches and eight inches, and a block guide attached to the inner panel for stacking three different configurations of lock blocks. One block configuration includes an upper protrusion, another block configuration includes a lower protrusion and a third block configuration is a spacer with no protrusions. To achieve universality, the two blocks with upper and lower protrusions are paired and between such pairs there are three of the third blocks to accommodate each of the eight inch drawers, two of the third blocks to accommodate each of the seven inch drawers, one third block to accommodate each of the five inch drawers and no third blocks to accommodate each of the three inch drawers.

Abstract: A safety lock system for cabinet drawers that provides a lock mechanism that in a locked position prevents any drawer from opening and in an unlocked position allows only one drawer to be opened at any one time. The system includes a slide wedge-ended member attached to each drawer, an inner cabinet wall and a support member both of which include vertically aligned T-shaped slots for receiving interlock pieces. Each interlock piece includes an upper protrusion and a lower protrusion and a spacer bar connecting the two protrusions.

Abstract: A cabinet interlocking system is disclosed for a cabinet comprising a plurality of drawers wherein the interlocking system acts to prevent more than one drawer being opened at one time.
