Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for migrating a computer application from an entity's premises to a web services platform. Data from multiple sources on the entity's premises is gathered and normalized into a common format. The normalized data is used to create a topology of the network on the entity's premises. This topology is analyzed to determine whether a computer application executing on the entity's premises may be migrated to the web service platform.

Abstract: Examples of a negative pressure wound closure system and methods for using such a system are presented. Certain embodiments facilitate closure of the wound by preferentially contracting to provide for movement of the tissue. Certain embodiments can utilize tissue securing portions that aid in securing the system within a wound.

Abstract: A system and method for moderating and facilitating a resolution to disagreements and disputes between individuals on a set of facts comprising, an online platform with a courtroom and judge accepting inputs from defined users of the platform who have specific disagreements on a subject matter and promoting an open and fair discussion between the parties to find a resolution to their disagreements. The system and method of the platform allows intervention and assistance by invited third parties to help the fact creator or one or more challengers disputing the set of facts, to establish whether the statements of facts made by the fact creator are true or false. Cases are settled either by way of one of the parties to the dispute conceding, or by having the judge decide the veracity of the facts presented by the fact creator.

Abstract: A washing apparatus that is used to clean and prepare foods for human consumption. Best used with rice, the system helps to make the cleaning process simpler. The system is composed of a container which can be filled with water. A strainer, which can be inserted into the container, which can be filled with rice. A spatula, paddle, or other such shape which is used as an agitator of the rice and water to facilitate cleaning, which is inserted into the strainer. A lid with a hole, which attaches to the top of the container to seal the rice & water inside of the container, and limit splashing, but exposes the top of the paddle. A handle, which can be attached to the top of the paddle, to allow the paddle to rotate around the strainer.

Abstract: A photography searching system that is used to organize, share, and/or output event photography for event participants. Best used for races or large events, the system helps to organize photographs using associated available data such as date, time, or location of where the photograph was taken, the name of an event participant, a number corresponding to a number worn by the event participant (bib number or participant number), a color corresponding to a clothing color worn by the event participant, as well as the net time it takes participants to complete a event, etc., also known as data search terms. A photographer will upload these photographs to the system, they will be sorted and categorized in the database, and as in most events, each event participant will have multiple photographs taken of them. This system presents an interface on which a user inputs at least one query parameter and relevant photos are then presented to them.

A server receives a request from a mobile device to launch an application on the mobile device. The server generates a configuration file based on the launched application. The server transmits the configuration file to the mobile device for generation of a user interface of the launched application using the configuration file. The user interface includes a first display area using browser functionality of the mobile device to display one or more web page elements formatted by the server to appear as native to the mobile device. The user interface further includes a second display area having one or more interface elements that are native to an operating system of the mobile device.

Abstract: A system and method for developing software using dynamic dual-mode model and data entry is presented. During development, a model developer uses a model window and an editor window to create a model-driven editor. The model window displays model data, and the editor window displays instances of the model data, which results in the model-driven editor. When the developer is ready to deploy the model-driven editor, the model developer simply inhibits the model window. Therefore, the models are not compiled during deployment and, in turn, the model developer does not need to test compiled code. Since the model-driven editor relies upon self-contained models, the models may be updated, added, or removed locally or remotely on an individual basis. In one embodiment, the end user is able to re-enable the model window in order to view model data.

Abstract: A hand-held personal cleaning device is provided for allowing users with limited upper body mobility to clean hard to reach areas after using the restroom. The device comprises a handle having a grip, a working end having a grasping means, and a rigid curved tube secured therebetween. A first button disposed on the inside of the handle grip allows a user to open and close the grasping means located at the working end. The grasping means is used to retain and release a tissue loofah. A second button is located on the underside of the handle and may be used to disburse liquid from a reservoir within the handle onto the tissue loofah. A user may then maneuver the device and use the loofah to wipe his or her hard to reach areas. The loofah may then be disposed of by depressing the trigger button again, releasing the loofah for disposal down a drain or in a waste basket.
