Patent number: 10549211Abstract: A bath book and a puppet combination and method of manufacturing a bath book and a puppet combination, wherein a first intermediate assembly is bonded to a second intermediate assembly to create a third intermediate assembly. A second jersey backing layer is secured to the third intermediate assembly to create a fourth intermediate assembly. The fourth intermediate assembly may be flipped inside-out through a hole opening in the second jersey backing layer. The hole may then be sealed. The second jersey backing layer may be pushed upwards into the further intermediate assembly. An adhesive film may be applied to the terry cloth ring and the non-woven material ring of the second intermediate assembly to create a puppet assembly. The puppet assembly is positioned into a center aperture in a book assembly and bonded therein.Type: GrantFiled: September 17, 2018Date of Patent: February 4, 2020Assignee: MUNCHKIN INC.Inventors: Nairi Gharibian, Kevin Douglas Johnson, Wai Fun Salina Ha, Edward Kwok

Patent number: 8223626Abstract: A joint set of linear precoder designs is provided for single cell uplink multiuser space-time block coded multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems with multi-packet reception by exploiting outdated channel state information. By deriving the pairwise error probability with respect to both minimum and average codeword distance design metrics, the technique solves an optimization problem subject to transmit power constraint for each user and dependent on the outdated channel state information. Due to the non-convex nature of the optimization problem, an iterative technique based on alternating minimization and projected gradient can be used to solve for a joint linear preceding structure for general space-time block coding. The linear precoding structure is then sent from the base station to various consumer premise equipment for use in later transmissions. For orthogonal space-time block code, a simplified distributed technique is provided to solve for a closed-form solution of the optimization problem.Type: GrantFiled: January 11, 2008Date of Patent: July 17, 2012Assignee: Yim Tu Investments Ltd., LLCInventors: Edward Kwok Shum Au, Jane Wei Huang, Vincent Kin Nang Lau

Patent number: 7958712Abstract: A compact lawn mower that includes at least a shroud positioned a fixed distance from a lawn, by a common rear axle extended between and supported by a pair of rear wheels, is provided. The exemplary embodiment further includes a motor adjustment member confined within and supported by the shroud. The motor adjustment member interacts with a motor, which includes a cutting member attached to a motor shaft of the motor. By manipulating the motor adjustment member, the height of the cutting member relative to the ground surface is set. That is, the motor adjustment member is rotated in a first direction to move the motor closer to the lawn, and in the opposite direction to move the motor further from the lawn, allowing the grass to be cut to a desired length, while the shroud remains a fixed distance from the lawn.Type: GrantFiled: March 5, 2010Date of Patent: June 14, 2011Inventor: Edward Kwok-Yen Cheung

Publication number: 20090183482Abstract: A compact lawn mower is disclosed. Preferably, the lawn mower includes at least a shroud positioned a fixed distance from a surface, such as a lawn, by a common rear axle extended between and supported by a pair of rear wheels. The preferred embodiment further includes a motor adjustment member confined within and supported by the shroud. The motor adjustment member interacts with a motor, which includes a cutting member attached to a motor shaft of the motor. Preferably, by manipulating the motor adjustment member, the height of the cutting member relative to the surface is set. In a preferred embodiment, the motor adjustment member is rotated in a first direction to move the motor closer to the lawn, and in the opposite direction to move the motor further from the lawn, allowing the grass to be cut to a desired length.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 22, 2008Publication date: July 23, 2009Inventor: Edward Kwok-Yen Cheung
