  • Patent number: 10985921
Abstract: Example embodiments of systems and methods for application verification are provided. An application may generate a cryptographic key, and encrypt the cryptographic key with a predefined public key. A server, in data communication with the application, may include a predefined private key. The application may transmit the cryptographic key to the server. The server may receive, from the application, the cryptographic key; decrypt the cryptographic key using the predefined private key; encrypt an authorization token using the decrypted key; and transmit, to the client application, the authorization token via an out-of-band channel. The application may receive, from the server, the authorization token via the out-of-band channel; and decrypt the authorization token to obtain access to one or more services associated with the server.

  • Patent number: 10978176
Abstract: Systems, methods and apparatuses are described herein that employ machine learning techniques to assess a likelihood or risk that one or more patients will experience an adverse outcome, such as a decline in renal function, within one or more timeframes. The embodiments may utilize patient data relating to demographics, vital signs, diagnoses, procedures, diagnostic tests, biomarker assays, genetic tests, behaviors, and/or patient symptoms, to determine risk information, such as important predictive features and patient risk scores. And the embodiments may automatically execute patient workflows, such as providing treatment recommendations to providers and/or patients, based on determined risk scores.

  • Publication number: 20210061535
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments relate to an insulative protective packaging material constructed using recyclable paper materials. The packaging material includes one or more plies of paper adhered to each other. The one or more plies can have protrusions that form gas pockets. The gas pockets can be sealed by another ply to provide shock absorbency and insulation. Further, the plies can be used in multiple ways such as by nesting the protrusions of one ply into the recessed of another ply, layering multiple plies on top of each other, or individually. Each ply can be substantially flat or have protrusions. The protrusions can be made in various ways such as alternating the directions that they extend and varying the shapes of the protrusions. The resulting packaging material can be used as a shipping container or as liners within shipping containers.

  • Patent number: 10937008
Abstract: In some embodiments, one or more processors receive a financial instrument via an interface. The financial instrument indicates attributes of a financial transaction. The processors determine, based on one or more of the attributes, whether the financial transaction involves a cross border exchange. If the financial transaction involves a cross border exchange, the processors flag the financial instrument accordingly, perform a currency conversion, and communicate an electronic image associated with the financial instrument to computing resources configured to complete the financial transaction electronically without having to transport a paper copy of the financial instrument between financial institutions.

  • Patent number: 10935001
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a system for monitoring wear on a gearbox of a wind turbine. A controller of the system is configured to determine a torque exerted on a rotor shaft of the wind turbine or a generator shaft of the wind turbine based on measurement signals received from a first sensor of the system. The controller is also configured to determine an accumulated wear value for the gearbox based on the torque.

  • Patent number: 10921825
Abstract: A navigation system and a navigation method for an autonomous vehicle (AV) includes a system controller and an environmental sensor. The system controller determines an AV positional pose, which identifies the location of the AV, which further includes an AV position and an AV orientation in three-dimensional space. Additionally, the system controller determines a frame of reference that is associated with the AV positional pose. The frame of reference includes a coordinate system for the AV position and the AV orientation. A localization module determines the AV positional pose and the corresponding frame of reference. The localization module is associated with the system controller. The system controller then identifies at least one asset feature frame (AFF), which associates the AV positional pose with the feature in the AV environment. The system controller generates a motion control command based the AV positional pose and the AFF.

  • Publication number: 20210038776
Abstract: In some embodiments, a negative pressure wound therapy device includes a negative pressure source and a controller configured to, in response to determining that the negative pressure source is directly fluidically connected to a wound dressing without a canister between the two, operate the negative pressure source in a first mode; otherwise, operate the negative pressure source in a second, different mode. The controller can be further configured to, in response to determining that a level of activity of the negative pressure source over a first time duration satisfies at least one of a leak or blockage condition, provide an indication of at least one of a leak or blockage and, in response to determining that the level of activity does not satisfy the at least one of the leak or blockage condition over a second time duration subsequent to the first time duration, discontinue providing the indication.
