    Abstract: The invention relates to a fluid or beverage dispensing device having self-cleaning dispensing nozzle. The device includes a body provided with a conduit having a first end to which a dispensing nozzle is connected, and a second end to which a fluid inlet line is intended to be connected. The device further includes a collector member that can move relative to the body between a first dispensing position in which the outlet of the nozzle is released from the collector member and a second cleaning position in which the collector member is placed in front of the nozzle outlet to collect any fluid that exits the outlet.

The invention also relates to a method of using and machine readable program for controlling the automated food product dispenser of the invention.

    Abstract: An iontophoretic drug delivery device storage apparatus and a method of using that device is disclosed. The device comprises a fluid reservoir, an electrode assembly and a tray apparatus. The fluid reservoir is capable of retaining a medicament and has a sealed fluid chamber defined by at least one seal. The seal includes a weaker region and a pinch-like configuration associated with that region such that application of pressure to the fluid reservoir breaks the weaker region of the seal, releasing the retained medicament. The electrode assembly comprises an active electrode, at least two passive electrodes a medicament carrying region, and a moat region around the medicament carrying region so that once fluid is delivered from the fluid reservoir to the electrode assembly the fluid is substantially retained in the medicament carrying means.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method for removing bones from a sub-primal cut meat portion, and more particularly, an apparatus and method for removing bones from a chuck blade sub-primal cut meat portion where said apparatus includes a carousel-type conveyor system arrangement having at least one mounting station and at least one meat cutting station. The carousel-type conveyor has a mounting fixture that is adapted to hold and manipulate and orient the meat cut such that bone removal can be performed effectively. The carousel-type conveyor in one embodiment is a rotation table which transitions the mounting fixture with the sub-primal cut mounted thereon to a position adjacent a cutting station. Each cutting station includes at least one reciprocating chisel blade assembly that is utilized to sever the meat from the bone by repetitively plunging and retracting a chisel blade into and from the meat and bone interface with a reciprocating stabbing action thereby severing the meat from the bone.
