  • Publication number: 20090107556
Abstract: An apparatus that resembles a part of the human body that can dispense fluids is disclosed. The body part is made out of a polymer, where the shape of the body part is determined by a mold. Tubing is used to transport the liquid. One end of the tubing is flush with the edge of the body part such that the tube does not protrude from the body part but also can dispense fluid freely. A nozzle can be included in this end to direct the flow of the fluid. The other end of the tubing is connected to a container with a pump, where the pump can dispense continuous or specific amounts of fluid. Alternatively, gravity can be used to force the fluid through the nozzle. The apparatus can be designed for use by an individual or separate from an individual.

  • Publication number: 20050267738
Abstract: A communication system for human communication comprises a sending computer system 11, a receiving computer system 21a and a translation web site 31. The sending system 11 is arranged, when sending a communication, to determine a first human perceptible language associated with the sender and a second human perceptible language associated with the recipient and, if the first and second languages are different, to send the communication to the translation system 31 for translation. The address of the receiving system is sent with the communication. The diverted communication is translated, and forwarded by the translation system 31 to the receiving system. If the first and second languages are the same, the communication is sent by the sending system 11 directly to the receiving system 21a. The receiving system checks the language of incoming communications against that of the recipient and, if necessary, sends the communication to the translation site 31 for translation and return.

  • Patent number: 6461634
Abstract: A food, or ready-to-drink beverage, delivery system for increasing the production and release of human growth hormone (HGH) for anti-aging effects and/or to improve a condition of HGH deficiency. A food bar, powder, other food forms, or ready-to-drink beverage that contains the full range and optimal dosages of vitamins, minerals, non-prescription hormonal and herbal supplements most desired by individuals who regularly take such supplements from numerous bottles or other packages. HGH stimulation and the above-described supplementation may be delivered for oral ingestion separately or together in the same aliquot, said aliquot providing a pleasant-tasting and convenient snack or mini-meal in addition to the specific HGH stimulation and supplementation. L-glutamine, glycine and melatonin are sufficient to boost HGH up to age 60, and it is preferred to add L-arginine and L-lysine for individuals of age 60 and older.

  • Patent number: 4251061
Abstract: A snap roller utilized as a snatch lock employs a pulley and a rod fabricated from a wire-like spring material to which the pulley is journalled. The rod has a portion of its length, located substantially in the central regions thereof to which the pulley is journalled. A pair of portions of the length of the wire-like rod extends radially outwardly from the longitudinal axis of the pulley in a direction substantially parallel to one another. The ends of the wire-like rod are formed into oppositely directed hooks such that each of the distal ends approach, and if desired contact the opposed length of the pair of portions of the wire-like rod. In use, a rope or line may be passed between the hook-like ends so so as to engage a groove in the pulley due to the fact that each hook-like end resides in planes that are skew to one another allowing the distal ends of the hooks to be forced outwardly from the opposed one of the pair of portions of the wire-like rod.

  • Patent number: 3967800
Abstract: A new and improved cloth-board reel is disclosed which utilizes two corrugated sheets bonded together eliminating the need for an intermediary sheet which was previously considered necessary. The cloth-board reel of the present invention provides the required strength without the more expensive construction previously considered necessary. The corrugated sheets are covered with a wrapper sheet which forms a smooth surface for the cloth and adds to the strength of the cloth-board reel.
