  • Publication number: 20240127199
Abstract: A system for interfacing predetermined services to a user at a fixed location includes a processing platform running an operating system. The system further includes a data store for storing configuration information for enabling the operating system to interface with available physical system resources through the physical system resource interface associated therewith. A communication resource for interfacing with the operating system allows communication of the operating system with a central office for downloading configuration information to selectively enable ones of the available physical system resources to interface with the operating system through associated ones of the physical system resource interfaces in accordance with the configuration information and the predetermined service selected by a user. A plurality of configurations is stored in the data store, and each is associated with a predetermined service and one or more of the available physical system resources.

  • Patent number: 11922381
Abstract: A distributed transaction system for enabling users to conduct transactions using services from third party service providers includes a central processing center with one or more communications interfaces to facilitate transactions initiated by users at a plurality of kiosks wherein each of the kiosks includes a user interface enabling a user to access a user selected service and a data store for storing configurations associated with services provided by the third party service providers, whereby a user interfaces with one or more of physical system resources of the kiosk to open a user identity session such that the kiosk is operative to facilitate at least one first user action with the physical resources to initiate a financial transaction and the central processing center is operative to execute at least a second action to facilitate the transaction and to communicate with a financial institution.

  • Publication number: 20230070412
Abstract: An intraoral assembly for endoscopy, including a bite bar, including a tubular section including a first end and a second end, a first flange arranged at the first end having an indentation therein, a second flange arranged at the second end, and a first through-hole, and a tongue restraint, including, a proximal end, a distal end, a top surface, a bottom surface, a first side, a second side, and a hole extending from the proximal end to a location proximate the distal end, wherein the bite bar is adjustably and removably connectable to the tongue restraint. The tongue restraint having a pair of protrusions arranged in each of a pair of a channels. The tongue restraint having an extension arranged to be seated within the indentation of the bite bar.

  • Publication number: 20140234896
Abstract: A photo bioreactor for the growth of photosynthetic organisms comprising a tank (2) for holding a liquid medium, six rotational agitators (3a-3f) for agitating the liquid medium. Each agitator is arranged to agitate about a substantially vertical axis (6a-6f) by sweeping out, upon rotation, a substantially circular path (C) that has a diameter (D) that is substantially coincidental with a radius (R) of the tank (2). Each agitator (3a-3f) is located on a radius which is spaced approximately 60° apart from the next. This allows for more even mixing and more uniform light distribution within the tank.

  • Publication number: 20130239184
Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling a safe are disclosed. The system includes a safe having one or more networked devices, a mobile computing device, and a virtual safe controller server (VCF). The VCF server is configured to initiate a control session of the safe, determine a role of the user, transmit an instruction to the mobile computing device indicating one or more graphical user interfaces to display based on the role of the user, receive a command from the mobile computing device via the network, and transmit the command to the networked device over the network. The control session provides a user of the mobile computing device control of the networked devices. The role of the user is indicative of actions that the user has permission to perform on the networked devices. The command indicates a commanded action to be performed on a networked device.
