  • Publication number: 20170011332
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method of valuing an individual or group of individual's social contributions. This involves an individual first joining or being selected to join a community. The community may be created by a creator who selects the individuals to the community. The individuals participate in activities and as well as challenges of the community. In exchange for their participation and completion, the individual may receive rewards or points associated with the activities and challenges. The individual develops a score based on their social engagement. This score is a Social Engagement Reward Value (SERV) and represents their social engagement within the community. The rewards provided by the creator are awarded by the creator based on the individual's social engagement i.e. SERV and may come from a contributor. Additionally the community may be associated with a sponsor.

  • Publication number: 20050057064
Abstract: A tailgate assembly adapted to be mounted along an open edge of a vehicle's load-carrying bed is provided. The tailgate is able to alternatively pivot about (1) an axis generally parallel with a bottom edge of the tailgate for movement between a closed position and a folded-open position and (2) an axis generally parallel with a lateral edge of the tailgate for movement between the closed position and a swing-open position. The tailgate assembly includes a stamped sheet metal frame having a reinforced cross-sectional shape with an inner side facing an associated vehicle's load-carrying bed and an outer side opposite the inner side. The tailgate assembly further includes a skin attached to the outer side of the frame.

  • Patent number: 5014901
Abstract: A rotatable welding fixture for supporting elongated structures such as tubes while performing metal welding operations on the tubes. The fixture includes an elongated central rigid frame which is rigidly attached at each end to an end plate and a trunnion aligned with the longitudinal axis of the frame. The central frame can be conveniently formed by a plurality of adjacent tubes each having a rectangular cross-sectional shape. A plurality of elongated structures such as tubes to be metal clad welded are supportably attached to the outer longitudinal surfaces of the fixture. The tubes being welded can be advantageously cooled during welding by passing a fluid such as water through the tubes. The invention also provides a method for metal clad welding the elongated structures while being rigidly supported by the rotatable welding fixture.

  • Patent number: 4798321
Abstract: A panelizing machine assembly for clamping elongated structures such as tubes at spaced intervals and then welding the structures. The machine includes an elongated main frame having connecting cross members, and provided with at least two bed plates each having a plurality of notches on their upper side, and at least two carriage structures which are self-supporting and longitudinally movable on the main frame. Each carriage is equipped with at least one contoured clamping plate which is vertically movable by pressurized piston means and have notches on their lower sides adapted for clamping the tubes onto the bed plates prior to the welding operations. Each carriage is independently movable along the main frame on rollers engaging rails attached to the elongated frame, and carriage movement is electrically controlled by photoelectric cells and brakes for accurate positioning, and operate in cooperation with a welding robot attached to the upper part of the central movable carriage.
