  • Publication number: 20220129087
Abstract: A cooking appliance control panel with movement detector for controlling cooking as a function of location has a microprocessor for operating an associated cooking appliance in accordance with a recipe. A movement detector determines a movement of the control panel and outputs a movement signal to the microprocessor.

  • Publication number: 20220128241
Abstract: A drive structure for moving an articulated control panel on a cooking appliance includes a mounting bracket fixed in position relative to the cooking appliance. A frame is movably mounted to the mounting bracket. The frame includes a guide. A curved slot is formed within the guide; the curved slot engaging the mounting bracket to travel along the mounting bracket. A control panel is affixed to the frame to move therewith. A drive mechanism is rotatably affixed to the mounting bracket and attached to the control panel. The drive mechanism includes a shaft, the shaft moveable to extend from a first, withdrawn, position to a second, extended, position in a direction substantially parallel to the control panel causing the control panel to move relative to the mounting bracket.

  • Publication number: 20220071443
Abstract: The system for controlling cooking as a function of environmental air density includes a cooking appliance operating in accordance with a recipe. An air density detector is operatively coupled to the cooking appliance. The air density detector determines an air density at the cooking appliance and outputs an air density signal. A processor in communication with the air density detector and the cooking appliance receives the air density signal. The processor outputs an adjustment recipe to the cooking appliance in response to the air density signal and the cooking appliance operates in accordance with the adjustment recipe.

  • Publication number: 20220076200
Abstract: A system for controlling cooking as a function of physical location of the control panel includes a control panel having a position determination unit, such as an accelerometer. The control panel includes a microprocessor and communication device. A library of control instructions, stores the recipes, including a time necessary to prepare the food, and an operation time of the cooking appliance. An application for determining a desired route between two locations is in communication with the control panel as well. The control panel communicates with the library and application utilizing the communication device.

  • Publication number: 20220076361
Abstract: A system for validating a cooking procedure includes a camera for capturing an image of an operator performing a cooking procedure at a cooking station, and capturing an image of the performed cooking procedure. A library stores images of operators authorized to perform the cooking procedure and images of a correct performance of the cooking procedure. The library stores two or more remedial actions, a respective remedial action corresponding to a number of misoperations of the cooking procedure by the operator. A manager communicates with the camera and the library to receive the image of the operator and the image of the cooking procedure performed by the operator. The manager compares the operator image with the images of authorized operators for a cooking procedure to determine whether the image of the operator is an image of an authorized operator for a cooking procedure. The manager compares the cooking procedure image as performed with images of the correct cooking procedure.

  • Publication number: 20070075069
Abstract: A system for monitoring the type and quantity of food prepared in at least one appliance includes at least one appliance for processing at least one type and quantity of food. A controller associated with the appliance controls the processing performed by the appliance. A backoffice application server is in communication with the controller. The controller prompts a user at the appliance, to input the type of food to be processed and the quantity of food to be processed by the appliance. The controller receives the input and transmits the input to the backoffice application server.
