  • Patent number: 7938372
Abstract: An apparent need exists for compact devices to ergonomically support such items as laptop computers, keyboards and projectors. The AIRDESKĀ® desk/stand design positions such items with full 3D positioning using all 6 directions of adjustment. Each direction of motion has the correct friction and range of motion for easy and secure re-positioning. Unique accessory shelves and cup holder may be attached to the device frame. A unique, flat, very thin, trip-free base provides unparalleled positioning flexibility of the unit, furniture legs may be placed directly on the base sheet. Additionally, a unique universal and quickly installed folding frame for an automobile or truck seat is provided for supporting the AirDesk positionable tray in a vehicle. AirDesks allow computing from any chair, recliner, sofa, bed, while standing or in a vehicle. The unique trip-free base may also be used for such applications as supporting medical equipment and crowd control stanchions.

  • Patent number: 4836760
Abstract: An improved positive displacement rotary pump, such as a gerotor pump, having an axial housing inlet opening with an outer radial edge extending inside the radial outer extent of the rotating fluid in the pump such that at design speed, the fluid pressure due to rotation of the fluid, does not cause fluid to move back into the inlet. Otherwise, the inlet is maximally open to allow maximum filling efficiency.

  • Patent number: 4215183
Abstract: An electrochemical cell such as a fuel cell comprising an ion exchange membrane electrolyte and catalytic electrodes bonded to the surface of the membrane is provided with a wet proofed carbon paper current collector at the oxidizing electrode. The use of a wet proofed carbon paper current collector allows axial current collection from the bonded electrodes thereby avoiding the need for conductive screens directly in the bonded electrodes. The wet proofed carbon paper by virtue of its hydrophobic character prevents flooding of the electrode by the cell product water.
