Abstract: A heart is medically imaged to provide outlines of the end systole, mid systole and end diastole images of the heart. There is provided for each outline a sequence of functional relationships for the normalized curvature of a point to the normalized distance along the outline from the apex of each outline to provide a normalized curvature distribution function for each outline that are differentially combined to provide a normalized curvature difference function that is displayed. The latter is compared with a normal average normalized curvature difference function representative of normal hearts to evaluate the heart condition.
