Additionally, a resource-generating device automatically creates a URL for resources generated on the peer device. The generated resource is accessible from a public network while still on the device via the URL. The system and device further includes an update feed for new and newly-modified resources on the system or device.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and computer instructions are provided for inserting code fixes into applications at runtime. One aspect of the present invention leverages capability of a just-in-time-instrumentation monitoring component to receive a code fix during execution of applications and insert code fixes into applications. Another aspect of the present invention allows users to create a custom class loader that loads a custom class at runtime. The custom class loader then inserts the custom class in the applications. With the aspects of the present invention, code fixes and patches may be applied to applications without taking the applications down.

Abstract: A file manager for a consumer electronic device enhances a user's experience in a computing environment by displaying a variety of content in a folder in a collage configuration. The content may be, for example, live applications and other files, and are collectively termed assets. The file manager also displays the content in a grid configuration for management purposes, and provides graphics tools to allow the user to artistically customize the display of the assets.

Abstract: Disclosed are radiation-curable compositions comprising at least one ortho-phthalate (meth)acrylate, and optionally a (meth)acrylate monomer, a stabilizing package, an adhesion promoter, and/or a photoinitiator. The compositions maintain physical integrity when cured and then aged for seven days under the conditions of 70% relative humidity, 77° C. black panel temperature, 55° C. chamber air temperature and a light intensity of 0.51 W/m2/nm at 340 nanometer wavelength passed through a daylight filter. The preparation and use of these compositions are also disclosed.

A number of file versions respectively created before the stored most recent versions, up to a number equal to the second number, are stored at the second storage location, over a pre-specified time period and in accordance with a pre-specified strategy.

The processing comprises determining an urgency type, a second third-party application to which at least a portion of the data is applicable, mapping the data to a second third-party application data structure, and generating a request including the data structure and based on the urgency type and the second third-party application. The request is sent to the second third-party application. Data in a database associated with the centralized application is updated based on the changed data.

Abstract: A geometrical layout tool and method for locating a plurality of target points spaced apart over a particular area from a single reference point located within that area which is defined by the intersection of mutually perpendicular lines. A template placed over these lines has a central opening at the intersection and indicia at its periphery which register respectively with the lines. A center anchoring pin holds the template against movement, and a target line indicator is rotatably adjustable about the pin for alignment with a selected target point. A chalk line and tape measure or a laser may be mounted on the pin to make direction and distance determinations of the selected target point from the reference point.

Abstract: An occupant weight sensor (1) for placement between a frame (7) fixed to the chassis of a vehicle and a second frame (8) supporting a vehicle seat has a sense element having a first body (12, 22, 28, 34, 50, 62, 64, 68) formed with a planar sense surface on which are mounted piezoresistors electrically connected in a Wheatstone bridge configuration. A post (12a, 22c, 28c, 34e, 50b, 62a, 64a, 68b) extends outwardly from the first body for attachment to the first frame. A second body is formed with a force transfer portion (14a, 24g, 30d, 36b, 52a, 70a) permanently attached to the first body along an outer periphery circumscribing the sense surface. The piezoresistors are electrically connected to conditioning electronics received in a chamber formed between the two bodies. The effects of parasitic loads on the sense element are minimized by selected placement of the piezoresistors on the sense surface.
