  • Publication number: 20050236543
Abstract: In another embodiment, the above-mentioned design considerations are achieved by a mounting device having a generally vertical mounting post, a base plate, a pair of base brackets, and securing fixtures. The post is securable at one end to a support surface, such as a table or counter top, or even a floor or ceiling. The base plate is, in turn secured to the mounting post and has upper and lower flanges which are engaged by first and second retainers on each of the base brackets. The base brackets include fixtures that secure the appliance to the mounting assembly. Also, the base plate, brackets and appliance are rotatable about the axis of the mounting post.

  • Publication number: 20050187993
Abstract: Application data used by enterprise applications running on one or more servers can be synchronized with application data deployed from other locations. Application data can be transmitted as XML files over HTTP to facilitate synchronization with web-enabled servers. Multiple service data repositories can be synchronized with application data residing in a master data repository that runs within an enterprise application. Server-to-server data synchronization functionality is also provided through the use of proxy data repositories. Application data files can be deployed from an author system to remote servers. Newly-authored application data files can be versioned in the author system using a source control system and selectively deployed to various servers by the author in conjunction with a multi-stage testing process in preparation for deployment of the application data to a production server.

  • Publication number: 20050108274
Abstract: A system and method for propagating information, comprising accepting the information in a first enterprise application; updating a first repository based on the information, wherein the first repository is persistent; updating a second repository based on the information; notifying at least one subscriber repository of the information; and synchronizing the at least one subscriber repository with the second repository.

  • Publication number: 20050108258
Abstract: A method for accepting a request, comprising mapping the request to a control tree factory, generating a control tree from the factory based on the request wherein the control tree can include at least one control, advancing the control tree through at least one lifecycle stage based on the request, generating a response wherein the response can be used to render at least a portion of a graphical user interface (GUI), and wherein the at least one control can represent a graphical element of the GUI.

  • Publication number: 20050108699
Abstract: A system and method for building a representation of a graphical user interface (GUI), comprising generating a class, generating a first representation of the GUI, wherein the class can produce a second representation GUI based on the first representation, generating a second representation of the GUI from the class, wherein the second representation includes at least one control, and wherein the first representation can include at least one of hierarchical relationships among controls, control properties, and control event information.

  • Publication number: 20050108648
Abstract: A method for rendering a graphical user interface (GUI), comprising providing for the representation of the GUI as a set of controls wherein the controls are organized in a logical hierarchy, traversing the representation, wherein the traversing comprises associating a theme with a first control in the set of controls, rendering the first control according to the theme, rendering any descendents of the first control according to the theme wherein any descendents of the first control can override the theme; and wherein one of the set of controls can communicate with another of the set of controls.
