  • Patent number: 11026648
Abstract: Visualization of a region of interest and planning a location of at least one injection point for a medical procedure is provided. At least one volume of imaging data for a region of interest is received. At least one virtual injection point is obtained. The at least one injection point indicates a location in a network of blood vessels for at least one injection. First and second rendering modules are controlled to construct a combined volume presentation including a first volume region rendered by a first rendering module at a relatively low level of detail and a second volume region is rendered at a higher level of detail by a second rendering module. The first and second volume regions are designated based on the at least one virtual injection point.

  • Patent number: 11028655
Abstract: A riser data logging system can be installed on the riser top to provide real time information of the riser, instead of or in addition to relying on sensors installed on a tensioner. The riser recoil detection system can thus be made independent of any motion of the vessel. This logging system can feedback the riser top acceleration, velocity, position, and the wire-line tensions into a controller. By comparing the acceleration difference between the riser top and the vessel body, the controller can provide more reliable and faster detection of events occurring on a vessel, potentially detecting the condition within one second. If the acceleration exceeds a certain limit, the electrical tensioners are able to reduce the wire-line tension nearly instantaneously, providing a much more effective anti-recoil control that conventional hydro-pneumatic tensioners.

  • Patent number: 10962561
Abstract: A sensor assembly is disclosed. The sensor assembly includes a housing that includes a top housing and a bottom housing that clamp together. The sensor assembly also includes a printed circuit board assembly (PBA). The sensor assembly also includes at least one piece of elastic material that is located in between the top housing and the PBA and in between the bottom housing and the PBA. When the PBA is clamped in the housing, the sensor assembly allows the PBA to maintain alignment relative to the housing across different environments in order to enable proper operation of the sensor assembly. A top surface of the PBA and a bottom surface of the PBA each have at least one three-dimensional feature that is designed to increase friction with the elastic material.

  • Publication number: 20210053875
Abstract: The present invention deals with development of a novel process for manufacturing moisture resistant glossy finish hybrid green polymeric composites with variable density in range of 0.2-1.68 g/cc, low water/moisture absorption in the range of 0.1-1.3%, tensile strength and tensile modulus in range of 6.5-105 MPa and 250-6850 MPa, respectively and to the best of our knowledge the fabricated hybrid green composites has not yet developed universally using different types of industrial wastes particulates. Moreover, hybrid composites developed using industrial wastes, natural fibres and epoxy/polyester/polyurethane polymers is a unique materials and have multifunctional applications in wider spectrum as an alternative to wood, synthetic wood, wood plastic composites, screen printing sheet, plastic, fibre and glass reinforced polymer products, including tin sheet.

  • Publication number: 20200390502
Abstract: Various cranial surgery OSS registration device embodiments of the present disclosure encompass a cranial surgery facial mask (128), a mask optical shape sensor (126b) having a mask registration shape extending internally within the cranial surgery facial mask (128) and/or externally traversing the cranial surgery facial mask (128), a cranial surgery tool (101), and a tool optical shape sensor (126d) having a tool registration shape extending internally within the cranial surgery tool (101) and/or externally traversing the cranial surgery tool (101). The mask registration shape of the mask optical shape sensor (126b) and the tool registration shape of the tool optical shape sensor (126d) interactively define a spatial registration of the cranial surgery facial mask (128) and the cranial surgery facial mask (128) and the cranial surgery tool (101) to a cranial image.

  • Publication number: 20200362647
Abstract: An integrated snubbing platform is provided that includes a snubbing section including a snubbing jack assembly and a secondary blowout preventer (BOP) connected to the snubbing jack assembly; and a primary BOP section connected directly to the secondary BOP. The integrated snubbing platform is transportable as a single unit and mountable onto a wellhead as a single unit. A method of mounting a snubbing assembly, a secondary BOP unit and a primary BOP stack onto a wellhead is also provided. The method involves first providing an integrated snubbing platform having a snubbing section that includes a snubbing jack assembly and a secondary blowout preventer (BOP) connected to the snubbing jack assembly; and a primary BOP section connected directly to the secondary BOP. The method then involves mounting the integrated snubbing platform onto a wellhead as a single unit.
