    Abstract: A measuring tool for laying out plane geometries by firmly fixing extendable legs with marking or indexing means in a configuration conformable to desired layouts. Once properly configured, the invention is physically transferred to a planar work piece and indices are transferred to the work piece, thus accomplishing transfer of measurements simply and without the use of rules or scales.
