  • Patent number: 12068593
Abstract: An example busway system is provided that includes a first busway, a second busway, and a joint seal coupling the first busway to the second busway. The first busway includes a first end and an opposing second end, and the second busway includes a third end and an opposing fourth end. The joint seal includes panels configured to at least partially slide over the first or the opposing second end of the first busway, and at least partially slide over the third or the opposing fourth end of the second busway to couple the first busway to the second busway. The joint seal creates a seal at a joint formed by the first busway, the second busway, and the joint seal.

  • Publication number: 20240245294
Abstract: A gonioscopic attachment can attach to a gonioscope and can include atraumatic retention elements that are configured to engage an eye to retain the gonioscope relative to the eye. The gonioscopic attachment can be configured to position the gonioscope so that at least a portion of the concave distal surface of the gonioscopic optical element is spaced apart from the eye, and/or so that the curvature of the distal surface is angularly offset from the curvature of the eye. The gonioscope can include a fixation point configured to be visible to the subject when the gonioscope is positioned on the eye. In some embodiments, the retention elements can be incorporated directly into the gonioscope. A coupling mechanism can couple the gonioscope to a lid speculum. The gonioscope can include a light pipe, which can be configured to directly light into the eye.

  • Patent number: 9720784
Abstract: A technique for cloud infrastructure backup in a virtualized environment utilizing shared storage includes obtaining a workload input/output (I/O) profile to the shared storage over a time period. An attempt to locate one or more time windows in the workload I/O profile for which a cloud infrastructure backup can be staged is initiated. In response to determining the cloud infrastructure backup can be staged during at least one of the time windows, staging of the cloud infrastructure backup is scheduled during a selected one of the time windows. In response to determining the cloud infrastructure backup cannot be staged during at least one of the time windows, an interference tolerance approach is employed for accessing the shared storage for active workloads and the cloud infrastructure backup during the staging of the cloud infrastructure backup.

  • Patent number: 8111937
Abstract: An image processing method includes wavefront coding a wavefront that forms an optical image, converting the optical image to a data stream and processing the data stream with a color-specific filter kernel to reverse effects of wavefront coding and generate a final image. Another image processing method includes wavefront coding a wavefront that forms an optical image, converting the optical image to a data stream and colorspace converting the data stream. The method separates spatial information and color information of the colorspace converted data stream into one or more separate channels and deblurs one or both of the spatial information and the color information. The method recombines the channels to recombine deblurred spatial information with deblurred color information, and colorspace converts the recombined deblurred spatial and color information to generate an output image.

  • Patent number: 8107705
Abstract: A biometric optical recognition system includes optics, including a wavefront coding mask, for imaging a wavefront of object to be recognized to an intermediate image, and a detector for detecting the intermediate image. A modulation transfer function detected by the detector contains no zeros such that subsequent task based image processing recognizes the object. A biometric recognition system includes optics for imaging a wavefront of an object to be recognized to a first intermediate image, and a detector for detecting the first intermediate image. The optics include a phase changing element configured for modifying the wavefront such that a modulation transfer function characterizing detection of the first intermediate image contains no zeros such that subsequent task based image processing recognizes the object.
