  • Patent number: 8540096
Abstract: A container has a bottle enclosing a prescribed volume having a sidewall including a pair of recesses situated on opposite sides of a vertical midline, with at least one passage extending between the pair of recesses. A handle has first and second portions adapted to be received wholly within the pair of recesses in the sidewall. Connecting portions extend through the passage in a portion of the sidewall to connect the first and second handle portions to each other. The connecting portions include a hinge permitting the first and second portions to be displaced from within the sidewall recesses to a position projecting outward from the sidewall sufficiently to permit the first and second portions to be grasped in one hand by a user of the container.

  • Patent number: 8540097
Abstract: A container enclosing a prescribed volume having a sidewall including at least one of recess, each recess including at least one socket portion. A handle element adapted to be received in each recess, each of the handle element including at least one ball portion received in the socket portion of the recess, the ball portion being pivotable within the socket portion so as to permit the handle element to be displaced from within the sidewall recesses to a position projecting outward from the sidewall sufficiently to permit the a middle portion of the handle element to be grasped in one hand by a user of the container.

  • Publication number: 20130140211
Abstract: A set of one-piece containers constructed so that each of the containers has a peripheral side wall which is arranged to permit movement of each container from an extended position to a collapsed position by reason of a telescoping relationship between the various sections of the peripheral side wall. The set of containers is constructed so that the outermost and innermost dimensions of the peripheral side walls are such that, in the collapsed position, the containers are nestable one within another to provide for low-volume storage of the entire set of containers between uses.

  • Publication number: 20130092330
Abstract: An industrial traffic curtain can be formed of a plurality of overlapping strips suspended contiguously to each other from a hanger fixed adjacent to a top margin of the opening. Each strip is of a flexible transparent material of substantially uniform longitudinal character having a lateral cross-section defined by an alternating series of thicker portions separated from each other by thinner portions, the thicker and thinner portions having approximately the same width, the thinner and thicker portions being united by narrower tapered regions of changing thickness. The traffic curtain thus formed exhibits a surprisingly lower electrostatic attraction between the strips so that the resistance to separation from each other as goods and transporting vehicles attempt to pass through the curtain is much lower than prior art curtains.

  • Publication number: 20120199706
Abstract: A display stand has a base, a vertical pole having a lower end fixed to the base. The pole includes two sections having a stem projecting upward from each section. A bearing is coupled each stem of the pole. A pair of racks, each having a central tube with a bearing race fixed within a lower end contacts an outer surface of the bearings for rotation around the tube. Each rack has a generally square perimeter with rounded corners formed of wire, with a plurality of radial support members coupled between the central tube and the rounded corners. Each side of the square perimeter portion includes a pair of hooks adjacent the rounded corners to engage products to be displayed on the stand, the hooks projecting a limited distance outward below the plane of the rack square perimeter.

  • Publication number: 20090324888
Abstract: A printing process to be applied to the whole or any selected portion of the lower surface of a mat having carpet-engaging features substantially equally distributed over the whole of the lower surface. The application of a desired graphic pattern using a computer controlled ink jet that is spaced from the lower surface of the mat by a distance exceeding the height of the carpet-engaging features. The space between the computer controlled ink jet and the carpet engaging features is preferable sufficient to ensure that the carpet engaging features will have substantially all surfaces subjected to the ink delivered by the ink jet including the lower surface of the mat, and the lower and lateral surfaces of the carpet-engaging features. The ink can be reactive to radiation such as ultra-violet light to bond the ink to the mat lower surface and carpet-engaging features.

  • Publication number: 20090188918
Abstract: An adjustable dispensing cap for a container has a housing having an outwardly extending flange, an insert mounted for rotation within the housing, and a separate collar including a ring having an outer edge, an inwardly projecting flange for contacting a projecting flange portion of the dispensing cap, and an interior surface including coupling elements for coupling the collar and dispensing cap to said container opening. The separate collar can include an overcap integrally formed with the ring and including a rim portion selectively engable with the ring out edge, the overcap having a side wall and an end face coupled to the overcap rim, the overcap being coupled to the ring so that the overcap can be repeatedly moved between a closed position covering the ring and an open position permitting access to the container mouth.

  • Publication number: 20090188873
Abstract: A display for a group of semi-rigid to semi-flaccid sheet goods has a base, and a pair of parallel sidewalls that extend upward from the base a spaced distance from each other that is smaller than the width of the sheet goods. A plurality of channels is fixed to each sidewall so that each channel is perpendicular to the base and points toward the other sidewall at a uniform inclined angle. The angle of the channels is such that one of the sheet goods can be received between opposing pairs of the channels when curved in an arc. This arcuate presentation of the semi-rigid to semi-flaccid sheet goods ensures that the sheet goods will remain erect for an extended period of time while situated in the display.
