  • Patent number: 11602088
Abstract: A shield assembly includes a closing structure configured to be disposed over an opening of an enclosure. The closing structure includes an inner surface configured to face an inside of the enclosure when the closing structure is closed and a finger bracket structure mounted on the inner surface, the finger bracket structure having a bracket and one or more finger gaskets coupled to the bracket. An electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielded gasket disposed along a portion of the opening of the enclosure shields an edge of the opening of the enclosure or a radio frequency (RF) fence bracket coupled to a frame disposed around the opening of the enclosure creates a narrow path between the frame and the closing structure, the narrow path attenuating RF signals passing through the narrow path and shielding an edge of the opening of the enclosure.

  • Publication number: 20220401646
Abstract: An occluder detection system is disclosed. At least one occluder element moves according to a cam motion to apply a periodic compression to a flexible infusion line. A portion of the occluder element is configured to emit or modify an energy or magnetic field. A sensor is configured to measure the energy being emitted or modified by the section of the occluder element. A processor causes the at least one occluder element to move according to the cam motion to move a fluid within the flexible infusion line by periodically compressing the flexible infusion line, measures the energy of the energy source via the sensor, obtains a current cam state associated with the cam motion at a time corresponding to the measured energy, and determines, based on the measured energy and the current cam state, a state of the occluder element. The processor may issue an alarm on a fault condition.

  • Publication number: 20220312961
Abstract: A secure receptacle includes within it a vertically-aligned carousel having a plurality of securable containers horizontally disposed around the carousel. Each container includes a securable lid preventing access to the contents of the container, and the vertically-aligned carousel is configured to lock in a secured position. A sensor within the secure receptacle determines a position of the carousel, and a motorized controller rotates the carousel to a requested position. On determining a requested container, the carousel is rotated so that the requested container is moved from a current position to the opening of the secure receptacle, and the securable lid of the requested container is actuated to provide access to its contents.

  • Patent number: 11304345
Abstract: A door assembly is described. The door assembly includes a door structure that is mounted over an opening of an enclosure. The door structure includes a body that includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The first surface may face an inside of the enclosure when the door structure is closed. The door structure includes a number of finger bracket structures mounted on the first surface. Each one of the finger bracket structures includes a bracket and one or more finger gaskets coupled to the bracket. The finger gaskets of the finger bracket structures may contact enclosure brackets mounted around an edge of the opening of the enclosure when the door structure is closed. A combination of the finger gaskets in contact with enclosure brackets may create an electromagnetic interference (EMI) shield at the edge of the opening of the enclosure.

  • Publication number: 20220051792
Abstract: An electronic tag includes a housing; a processor within the housing; a transceiver configured within the housing and coupled to the processor; a display coupled to the housing and the processor, and configured to display information received via the transceiver; a clamping mechanism coupled to the housing and configured to secure the electronic tag to an intravenous (IV) tubing; and a sensor configured within the housing, and configured to measure a property of a fluid in an IV tubing at a location of the clamping mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20210361863
Abstract: A system and method for operating an analgesia administration system is disclosed. A control device is associated with a drug delivery device and configured to receive a first user input including at least a portion of a fingerprint of a patient, together with a second user input corresponding to a request to administer medication. The portion of the fingerprint is compared with previously-stored fingerprints to determine an identity of the patient and, in response to receiving the second user input and determining that the patient is an authorized user, one or more sensors are used to obtain one or more signals indicative of a state of the patient. If the state of the patient satisfies a set of medication delivery criteria, the drug delivery device is caused to administer a predefined amount of medication to the patient.
