  • Publication number: 20240201416
Abstract: A method and system for determining hydrologic conditions with respect to a surface point including generating one-dimensional columns representing hydrologic properties associated with the surface point to assist in determining the hydrologic conditions. The hydrologic conditions may be associated with historical conditions or a simulation of future conditions of the surface point.

  • Publication number: 20220043180
Abstract: The system and method for generating a forecast or simulation in a hydrologic environment includes the comparison of real-world observations with archived model states to generate or obtain initial conditions for the generation of the forecast or simulation. By using archived model states to generate forecast initial conditions, a more realistic simulation may be generated. The output of the simulation may then be stored as new model states with the other archived model states to maintain an updated archive of model states.

  • Publication number: 20210333434
Abstract: A method and system for integrated surface water and groundwater modelling using a dynamic mesh evolution. The system includes a dynamic mesh evolution that enables elevation changes in a landscape to be better represented in a simulation model. By moving, adding or removing computation nodes within the model over a predetermined range and updating the metadata, elevation changes may be better represented.
