  • Patent number: 5156546
Abstract: Method and apparatus for cleaning clogged dental equipment lines, such as water and air lines and drains, for a wide variety of dental equipment such as cuspidors and handpieces. One embodiment has an air hose connected to a connector for a handpiece for a drill, etc., wherein the connector has an interior plastic insert which closes off air to the holes in the drill for drive and exhaust air and allows air through two holes which connect with the spray air and water ports of the handpiece for the drill whererby the air blows out the clogged slits. Another embodiment uses the air hose with a rubber nozzle to blow clogged suction lines. Another embodiment has a rubber element with a hole in its middle which fits over the discharge hole in the cuspidor, whereby the air blows out the debris clogging the cuspidor hole and connecting lines.

  • Patent number: 5020522
Abstract: A compact vacuum therapy system useful in the treatment of male sexual dysfunction is provided which includes a pump body which is designed for removable mounting on a tube in both storage and operational positions. The pump body includes a reciprocable piston having a circumscribing groove of a width to permit axial shifting of an O-ring sealing member therewithin during movement of the piston within the pump body. The shifting sealing member thus acts as a valve to alternately seal and open a slot defined in the piston transverse to the groove during the reciprocating strokes of the piston. The piston is axially oriented with the intake and the tube when the pump body is mounted to the tube.

  • Patent number: 4834115
Abstract: A penile constrictor ring consisting of a length of elastic material and a latch for securing the ends thereof together to form a ring which may be placed about the penis in constricting relation thereto to inhibit the circulation of blood therein. Electrically actuated release means are provided to release the latch either automatically by the action of a timer after a predetermined time lapse, in order to prevent damage to the flesh of the organ, or in response to the reception of a radio signal from a transmitter held in the hand of the user, in order to allow normal ejaculation at the time of orgasm. An entirely manual release means is also provided as a safety measure in the event of failure of the electrical systems. An applicator tool is also provided for easy application of the latched and stretched ring to the penis.

  • Patent number: 4723538
Abstract: A constrictor ring for the treatment and allevation of impotence in males consisting of a ring-shaped elastic member operable to encircle the penis adjacent the user's torso, and including operating mechanism to expand it radially inwardly to engage and constrict the penis to inhibit the circulation of blood therein, thereby to encourage or maintain erection of the organ. The mechanism also includes devices for adjustably limiting the degree of constriction to which the organ may be subjected, for instantly removing all constriction if the user should feel pain or discomfort, and most importantly, for automatically releasing all constriction after a predetermined time delay sufficient to allow completion of an act of coitus, this release requiring no conscious act by the user, in order to avoid damage to the organ which otherwise could result if the user shold fall asleep or otherwise fail to release the ring.

  • Patent number: 4718411
Abstract: A male erecting device including an open-ended penile tube adapted to be fitted over a non-erect penis and sealed against the torso around the base of the organ, and a vacuum pump operable to produce a vacuum within the tube, the vacuum normally producing an erection in many types of impotence. A specially designed vacuum regulating valve provides an accurate, finely adjustable limitation on the maximum vacuum which may be established in the penile tube, which is necessary for the safety and well being of the user, to prevent possible discomfort, pain or even damage to the penis. Valves are also provided for instantly relieving the vacuum entirely if the user should experience pain or discomfort, for relieving the vacuum automatically after a predetermined time to limit the exposure time of the penis to vacuum, and to disable the device completely for a further time period after cessation of the vacuum.
