Patent number: 11928112Abstract: Systems and methods are provided that use a trained process to reply to a request comprising query data defining a query and context data defining contextual factors for the query from a device. The query is answered by one or more selected APIs of a plurality of APIs that invoke respective services to prepare a response. The trained process determines an execution plan responsive to the query data and the context data and is configured using training to define execution plans comprising selected APIs where a particular API is selected for the plan if it answers at least a portion of the query and the selected APIs together prepare the response optimized for the device according to the context data. The plan is provided to an execution component to execute the plan using the selected APIs and send the response to the requesting device.Type: GrantFiled: April 23, 2021Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Assignee: The Toronto-Dominion BankInventors: Milos Dunjic, Martin Albert Lozon, David Samuel Tax, Arthur Carroll Chow, Peter Glen Nairn, Edward James Hood, John Jong-Suk Lee, Arun Victor Jagga

Patent number: 10643070Abstract: A device may receive an image stream of an environment of an electronic display. The device may detect that a target is in the environment, wherein the target is detected based on the image stream including an image associated with the target. The device may identify that a first object is associated with the target, wherein the first object is identified based on the object recognition model being trained to recognize the first object. The device may determine a characteristic of the first object and may determine that a second object is in the environment. The device may generate content that is to be displayed via the electronic display, wherein the content is generated based on the characteristic of the first object and a characteristic of the second object. The device may cause the content to be displayed via the electronic display to permit the target to access the content.Type: GrantFiled: May 7, 2019Date of Patent: May 5, 2020Assignee: Accenture Global Solutions LimitedInventors: Edward Victor Ritchie Lewis, Michael English, Mathan Murugasen, Viresh Veerasangappa Kadi, Joshua David Rusak

Patent number: 7752495Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product for reporting and recovering from an internal processor error in a multiprocessor system supporting system management mode. In accordance with the method of the present invention one or more replacement agents are allocated such as during system startup within the multiprocessor system. Machine specific error-reporting registers are monitored for one or more active processor agents during system operation. In response to detecting a faulty agent via the monitoring, a system management interrupt (SMI) request is issued to one or both the faulty agent and a selected replacement agent. In response to receiving the SMI request, the operating state of the faulty agent is copied to the selected replacement agent in system management mode. Operating system processing is then resumed using the replacement agent.Type: GrantFiled: March 11, 2008Date of Patent: July 6, 2010Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Edward Victor Zorek, Sr., Thomas James Fox, Eric Richard Kern, Michael Scott Rollins, William Bradley Schwartz
