  • Publication number: 20240127258
Abstract: The following relates generally to creating a backup of data and/or settings of a smart device. In some embodiments, one or more processors receive the data and/or settings of the smart device. The one or more processors may then mint a non-fungible token (NFT) that references a link to a data storage area. The data storage area may store: (i) an identification of the smart device, and/or (ii) the received data and/or settings of the smart device. The following also relates generally to providing a warranty of an item. In some embodiments, one or more processors detect an indication of a sale. The one or more processors may then mint a warranty non-fungible token (NFT) that: (a) is owned by the owner of the item, (b) identifies the item, and (c) identifies warranty information of the item.

  • Patent number: 11954214
Abstract: Methods and systems for managing and/or processing a blockchain to maintain data security for confidential and/or personal data are provided. According to certain aspects, the disclosed data security techniques may enable access sharing functionality utilizing the blockchain. For example, access sharing may be utilized to share policy information. The policy information may be associated with a smart contract. Accordingly, the policy information may be encrypted using a public key for the smart contract and compiled into a block of the blockchain. In response to a request to provide access to the information to a particular node, the private key for the smart contract may be encrypted using the public key for the particular node and compiled into a block of the blockchain.

  • Publication number: 20240111881
Abstract: Methods and systems for processing a blockchain comprising a plurality of immutable sales records corresponding to sales made by agents of an entity are provided. According to certain aspects, a transaction request indicating a sale made by an agent of the entity may be received at a first node. A block including a sales record indicating the sale made by the agent may be added to a blockchain and transmitted to another node for validation. The first node may add the block to a copy of the blockchain, where the block may be identified by a hash value that references a previous block in the blockchain that includes at least one additional sales record.

  • Publication number: 20240112267
Abstract: The following relates generally to updating an inventory of insured items. In some embodiments, one or more processors: identify a digital wallet of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) configured to store NFTs that correspond to insured items associated with an individual; detect a request to add a NFT corresponding to an insured item to the digital wallet; update the digital wallet to include the NFT; and display a virtual representation of the insured items of the NFTs of the digital wallet.

  • Publication number: 20240112266
Abstract: The following relates generally to providing insurance for a non-fungible token (NFT). For example, an NFT may represent ownership of a digital asset, such as an image and/or video. However, NFTs are sometimes lost (e.g., due to hacking, data corruption, etc.), and it thus may be wise to purchase insurance for the NFT. As such, in some embodiments, one or more processors: receive a request to purchase insurance for an NFT; determine an insurance premium for the NFT; and send an insurance quote including the determined insurance premium.

  • Patent number: 11948198
Abstract: A computer-implement method and computer system may be configured to facilitate insurance claim processing and estate handling. An audible or visible chatbot avator or dopplegänger may lead a trustee, beneficiary, or family member through the estate of an impaired or deceased user. A computer system may have been provided with, or gather, sample voice and visual recordings associated with a user that are used to build the chatbot avatar that simulates the user audibly and/or visually. The computer system may have previously prompted the user for necessary items to properly handle their estate, such as information related to financial accounts, loans, insurance policies, etc. and user names and passwords to various electronic accounts.

  • Publication number: 20240103982
Abstract: The following relates generally to providing insurance for one or more virtual items in a virtual environment. In some embodiments, an insurance server receives a request for insurance for one or more virtual items from a customer. The insurance server then obtains information associated with the one or more virtual items from a virtual environment server, and determines an insurance premium based upon the received information. The following also relates generally to providing backups of virtual items. In some embodiments, a backup server creates backups of virtual items by writing data associated with the virtual item to a data store. The virtual items may be fungible or non-fungible. In some embodiments, the virtual items are periodically backed up.

  • Publication number: 20240079117
Abstract: A method and system may use computer vision techniques and machine learning analysis to automatically identify a user's biometric characteristics. A user's client computing device may capture a video of the user. Feature data and movement data may be extracted from the video and applied to statistical models for determining several biometric characteristics. The determined biometric characteristic values may be used to identify individual health scores and the individual health scores may be combined to generate an overall health score and longevity metric. An indication of the user's biometric characteristics which may include the overall health score and longevity metric may be displayed on the user's client computing device.
