Each of the plurality of blades is spaced a radial distance from the bit centerline to define a core-forming region. A plurality of cutting elements is disposed on the plurality of blades. The plurality of cutting elements comprises at least two coring cutting elements that are disposed on the plurality of blades and the at least two coring cutting elements are the radially innermost cutting elements on the plurality of blades.
