    Abstract: A method includes identifying an event corresponding to an event node of a social graph associated with a social-networking system, where the social graph includes nodes and edges connecting the nodes, and the event node is connected to ticket nodes corresponding to tickets for the event. The nodes include a first user node corresponding to a first user of the social-networking system, and second nodes, each of which corresponds to a concept or to one of a plurality of second users of the social-networking system. The method further includes receiving a request to assign a selected one of the tickets for the event to the first user, and creating an edge between the first user node and a selected one of the ticket nodes, where the selected ticket node corresponds to the selected ticket.
