  • Patent number: 12122037
Abstract: A reaching and grabbing assist device is provided having a reaching extension for aid in reaching out of distance objects. The distal terminus of the extension has an articulating grapnel that may be angularly positioned about the lateral centerline of the shaft. A support strip on the user's wrist allows total control without the risk of the device falling out of one's grasp or reach. Made of a hard outer casing, the shaft may allow internal rigging to connect the articulating grapnel to controls at the handle. The instant abstract is neither intended to define the invention disclosed in this specification nor intended to limit the scope of the invention in any way.

  • Patent number: 11639696
Abstract: A method of determining the nature of a fault in the operation of a hydraulic fuel injector includes sending an actuation pulse to an actuator of the injector, the actuation pulse being above the minimum drive pulse of the injector. The method also includes analyzing a signal from an accelerometer of the injector to determine if there is a high frequency vibration component subsequent to the end of the activation pulse. The method also includes determining the functionality of a needle control valve of the injector dependent on the outcome of analyzing the signal from the accelerometer.

  • Publication number: 20220312867
Abstract: The present invention discloses a double-layered protective facemask. The protective facemask protects a user from germs, bacteria, and other pathogens. More specifically, the protective facemask comprises an outer layer, an inner layer, an adjustable right ear loop, and an adjustable left ear loop. The inner layer has a circular slit configured to be positioned near the mouth of a user when the facemask is worn and the outer layer has a circular vent at the bottom. A valve connecting member connects the circular slit and the circular vent and carries exhaled air from a user's mouth. A valve is detachably connected to the circular slit and is configured to be inserted into the mouth of the user to transport exhaled air to the valve connecting member. A plurality of apertures on the outer layer allow fresh air to be inhaled.
