  • Publication number: 20240179112
Abstract: Video messaging systems and methods utilize a video messaging component based on a video messaging component container stored in a data store. The video messaging component container includes a collaborative video list that shows a list of video content generated by users of the video messaging component. Iterations of the video messaging component are rendered in host applications on client devices. As video content is generated by the iterations, the collaborative video list is updated to include the video content, and the iterations of the video messaging component are updated to reflect changes to the collaborative video list in real-time.

  • Patent number: 11935662
Abstract: An elongate fuel element is described that has a silicon carbide cladding enclosing a fuel, such as UO2, wherein the fuel is dimensioned relative to the cladding to define gaps at each lateral end of the enclosure sufficiently large such that upon swelling in use, the fuel does not increase the strain on the cladding beyond the limits of the claddings strain tolerance. The lateral gaps at the ends of the fuel allow lateral expansion during swelling that reduces the strain on the cladding.

  • Patent number: 11919964
Abstract: The present invention relates to bispecific antigen binding proteins that are capable of binding to both the human CGRP receptor and the human PAC1 receptor. Pharmaceutical compositions comprising the bispecific antigen binding proteins as well as methods for producing them are also disclosed. Methods of using the bispecific antigen binding proteins to ameliorate or treat conditions associated with the two receptors, such as chronic pain, migraine, and cluster headache, are also described.

  • Publication number: 20240069701
Abstract: Methods, devices, and processor-readable media for scaling up graphical user interface (GUI) elements on a smart watch touchscreen based on the initial position of a stroke gesture, thereby facilitating selection, by a user, of a target GUI element. The user only needs to perform one stroke action to select the desired target. During the procedure, GUI elements of the main screen are scaled up to make target selection easier, and the GUI elements are automatically reset to their original size when the procedure is complete. To achieve this result, a “stroke with initial position” gesture is used to select a target.

  • Publication number: 20230371852
Abstract: Methods and systems for performing optical imaging are provided. An optical imaging system includes a light source configured to generate a spatially-distributed illumination beam of temporally-varying light and a detector configured to detect light resulting from an interaction between the illumination beam and a sample. The system further includes a processor configured to determine spatial and temporal characteristics of the detected light and generate a representation of the sample based on the determined spatial and temporal characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20080176025
Abstract: A composite wood and bamboo stick includes a core rod and a plurality of surface covers being pressed against and accordingly, tightly attached to outer sides of the core rod using a press, so as to form a complete stick. The core rod may be selected from the group consisting of a general wood material, a plywood material, and a composite wood material; and the surface covers may be selected from the group consisting of a general bamboo material, a bamboo plywood material, and a composite bamboo material. The composite wood and bamboo stick enables reduced consumption of wood, and the use of the bamboo surface covers gives the composite stick enhanced wear-resisting property.
