Patent number: 11925653Abstract: Novel antimicrobial compositions comprise at least a form of a fosfomycin (or suitable analogs, or derivatives thereof), and at least one sulfonamide (or suitable analogs, or derivatives thereof), and/or at least one diaminopyridine (or suitable analogs, or derivatives thereof). Said antimicrobial compositions generally include two or more of said components as a novel combination, provided in a single combination or formulation, or provided independently with overlapping exposures of the two or more components. These novel compositions, when provided as the two or more components, are effective against susceptible microorganisms, and are effective against susceptible drug-resistant microorganisms (e.g., bacteria, parasites), including multi-drug resistant bacteria.Type: GrantFiled: January 25, 2021Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Assignee: FLEURIR ABX, LLCInventors: John Lee Pace, Marc Edwin Wiles, Stacy Michelle Adams, Elizabeth Hussey

Patent number: 8478304Abstract: A mobile device operating in a cellular communication network determines its current location via the cellular communication network, for example, by triangulation of the base stations of the cellular communication network. At its current location, the mobile device also detects a wireless local area network (WLAN) such as a Wi-Fi network. The mobile device then sends the location information and an ID of the WLAN to a network based database server, which creates an entry to store data associating the location information with the WLAN. The mobile device can also store data associating the location with the WLAN in a local storage.Type: GrantFiled: June 18, 2007Date of Patent: July 2, 2013Assignee: Nokia CorporationInventors: Ram Adva Fish David, Dilip Raghu Kenchammana-Hosekote, Alistair Edwin Adams

Publication number: 20060240908Abstract: A golf club head includes a striking face and a sole plate coupled to the striking face. At least one support bar extends between the striking face and the sole plate, wherein a weight member is selectively secured to the at least one support bar. In accordance with an alternate embodiment, the club head includes a heel and a toe, as well as a striking face and a rear surface opposite the striking face. A support bar extends from the toe to the heel along the rear surface of the club head body, wherein a weight member is selectively secured to the at least one support bar. In accordance with yet a further embodiment, a rail extends along the sole plate and a weight member is mount within the rail for movement relative thereto.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 24, 2006Publication date: October 26, 2006Inventors: Edwin Adams, Tim Reed, Clive Roberts

Patent number: 4785306Abstract: A feed horn arrangement for reception of C-band and Ku-band signals by a single satellite antenna. The arrangement permits a Ku-band feed horn and amplifier to be mounted at the focus of a satellite dish in addition to the C-band reception equipment. A dielectric rod is mounted within the preexisting C-band waveguide to act as a waveguide to direct Ku-band signals to the Ku-band feed horn and amplifier. The Ku-band dielectric waveguide has no effect on the C-band signals which are amplified by the standard C-band amplifier. The dielectric waveguide may be either straight or curved according to the configuration of the C-band reception equipment.Type: GrantFiled: January 17, 1986Date of Patent: November 15, 1988Assignee: General Instrument CorporationInventor: Edwin A.
