  • Patent number: 11241558
Abstract: Trapping catheter and kit and method for preparing a trapping catheter A trapping catheter (10) for insertion into a guide catheter assembly (3) comprises a balloon (22) and a trapping catheter body (23) bounding an inflation lumen (24) extending longitudinally within the trapping balloon catheter. The inflation lumen has a distal end opening (25) into an internal space bounded by the balloon. The trapping catheter body is provided with a stopper (26) for abutting against an abutment (27) at a proximal end (27) of the guide catheter assembly so as to determine a maximum insertion depth of the trapping catheter into the guide catheter. A kit and method for preparing a trapping catheter prior to insertion into a guide catheter is also described.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 10188807
Abstract: Syringe/conduit combination with a syringe part (1) and a conduit part (2). The parts have a male slip fitting (4) and a female slip fitting (5) for press fitted connection. The syringe part (1) has a hollow barrel (22) and a plunger (23) inserted into the barrel (22). The plunger (23) and the hollow barrel (22) have abutments (25, 27) defining a maximally inserted position of the plunger (23). The male slip fitting (4) fits in the female slip fitting (5) such that the male slip fitting (4) is at an axial distance of less than 0.1 mm from an internal end of the female slip fitting (5). The plunger (23) in its maximally inserted position is then at an axial distance from an opposite one of the slip fittings (5) that is equal to or less than the axial distance between the male slip fitting (4) and the internal end (9) of the female slip fitting (5).

  • Publication number: 20160220259
Abstract: A tool is described for delivering and applying a clamping implant (9; 109) via a puncture in skin tissue (3) and underlying tissue (2) of a patient, comprising a hollow needle (4; 104) bounding a lumen (5; 105) and forming a helix, a plunger (6; 106) of which a distal portion extends in longitudinal direction inside the lumen (5; 105), and a plunger operating member (7; 107) engaging a proximal portion of the plunger (6; 106) projecting from the needle (4; 104), for screwing the plunger (6; 106) further into or out of the needle (4; 104) by screwing rotation of the needle (4; 104) relative to the plunger (6; 106). A system is also described, including such a tool, and a method is also described for delivering and applying a clamping implant (9; 109) using such an instrument.

  • Patent number: 9089675
Abstract: A guidewire system for insertion into a vascular system of a human or an animal so as to form a guide for guiding a catheter to a predetermined position. The system comprises a support catheter bounding a lumen for receiving at least a portion of the guidewire. The support catheter comprises a guidewire engagement structure for engaging the guidewire inside the lumen. The engagement structure in engaged condition causes the guidewire and the support catheter to be held mutually positioned at least in longitudinal direction thereof.
