Abstract: A locking cylinder and method of operating the locking cylinder. The locking cylinder includes an inner tube, an outer tube that slideably engages with the inner tube between a retracted position and an extended position, a base that removably engages with the outer tube and is in communication with the inner tube to partially receive the inner tube in the retracted position, and at least one latch mechanism that operably engages with the base inside of at least one locking passageway defined in the base. In operation, the at least one latch mechanism is configured to lock the inner tube with the base and the outer tube, collectively, at the retracted position when the at least one latch mechanism is free from being under load.

Abstract: An extendable boom for a lift vehicle and a method of operating the same. The extendable boom includes a lower boom that operably engages with the lift vehicle, an upper boom that slidably engages with and is housed inside of the lower boom, and a locking cylinder that is nested inside of the upper boom and is configured to transition the upper boom between an operating position and a stored position relative to the lower boom. In operation, the locking cylinder is configured to lock the upper boom to the stored position when the locking cylinder is free from being under load.

Abstract: Systems and methods for threat detection and mitigation for remote wireless communication network control systems. One example method includes receiving a threat detection message identifying a threat to at least one of a plurality of remote wireless network controllers, each associated with one of a plurality of wireless communication networks. The method includes determining a threat rating based on the threat detection message and determining, based on the rating, a threat mitigation action identifying at least a first remote wireless network controller of the plurality of remote wireless network controllers. The method includes executing the threat mitigation action by commanding a shift in an operational function of the first remote wireless network controller to a first on-premise wireless network controller associated with the same wireless communication network as the first remote wireless network controller.
